I called the number back from a different phone line and got a message that says, "Thank you for calling the Fundraising Center".  We are not able to take your call at this time.  Classic Scam/Spammer stuff.  BLOCK

Caller ID says it's from Charlotte, NC.  Left no message.

Called my cell and asked for someone else... then immediately went into a "charity donation" spiel about being from the "Trooper's Assn."   Even the name... "Trooper's association" seems too ambiguous to actually be a legitimate charity.  But even if they were legit, why would anyone ever give any funds to a total stranger who calls them on their phone for any reason?  I never would.

They said their website was www.nptadonations.org -- National Police and Troopers Association. Front for the International Union of Police Associations. #7 on a list of America's worst charities. http://www.tampabay.com/americas-worst-charit ... ciations-afl-ci
According to that article as an example it mentioned in 2011 that 92% of the money raised by IUPA went to the professional fundraisers.

Called my number. Asked for my name the. Hung up. They are scammers called back the line was busy. Says fundraiser

Callers from this number always ask for Jerome and then go on to try to scam...

Got a call the other day from a "Fundraising Center" over in Charlotte. Didn't bother leave a message. Gotta be a scammer.

980-242-5607 called my private number, asked for (mumbled) "is Lee there?" I said "you got wrong number". Professional-sounding scammer says real quick, "oh well then maybe you can help me! I'm with the national fundraising center".... I hung up & blocked their scamming calls. This is the third phone number they've called from.

Called from Charlotte, NC.  No message but thanks to the above, now blocked.

Once again scam calling, have been told to remove from call list, supposedly from N.C.Troopers..

Didn't answer.  Not recognize #.  Getting calls from so many unknown and restricted #.  So tired of being bothered.

They have several scams from this number They always ask for Stewart  The NC State Troopers don't  have scammers calling for money. When I called him a scammer calling from a scam number. I told him that he has call many from the number about car warranty he replied that he hope I know that I was talking to a live person  I replied that I hope he know the Judicial System put live scammers in Jail for stealing from people
