THIS COMPANY STP MEDIATION IS TRYING TO COLLECT A DEBT OF A PAYDAY LOAN FROM OCTOBER 2009, WHICH IS PAST THE 4 YEAR STATUE OF LIMITATIONS. THEY CALLED MY FRIEND AND MY HUSBAND BEFORE THE EVER CALLED ME DIRECTLY. THEY DID NOT MAIL ME ANYTHING. WHEN I ASKED IF THEY WOULD SEND ME WHAT IT IS I OWE, THEY SAID THEY CAN'T BECAUSE PEOPLE TRY TO FALSIFY THE DOCUMENT THEY SEND. THEY ARE TELLING ME THAT THEY WILL FILE SUIT AND CAN FILE SUIT FOR CHECK FRAUD. IF I OWE A DEBT I WILL PAY IT BUT THEY ARE REFUSING TO MAIL ME THE INFOMATION AND ARE SCARING ME AND MY FAMILY OVER THE PHONE. I CALLED IMMEDIATLEY TODAY WHEN I FINALLY RECEIVED A CALL FROM THEM ON MY CELL PHONE. I SPOKE WITH KAREN SLATE. I TOLD HER I WAS IN BANKRUPTCY. SHE TOLD ME THAT I HAD TIL 830AM TOMORROW TO CALL HER BACK OR SHE WOULD PROCEED WITH FILING A LAWSUIT. HER PHONE NUMBER IS 866-910-7441. THEY ARE RELENTLESS. I HAVE FILED COMPLAINTS WITH THE FTC AND BBB.

Had a miss call from 980-265-5585 today at 430p central time. No voicemail message was left.

Asked for Moran. I said we had nobody on our data base with that name, was told they had a wrong number listed.
Please take off calling list for whatever reason. Looked up number on Google & found the information for stp mediation, I would not have known who it was otherwise.  
Phone #980-265-5585. Would not identify self when I had no information for them.

Got three calls in a row from this number:  did not answer.

Got one call at 9:47am on a Tuesday morning, did not leave a message or call back.

recieved VM from this number today something about my card companies have authorized them to lower my interest rates call back to take advantage of this special offer - blah blah. BLOCKED.

This is racketeering and can be prosecuted.  Contact the Attorney General's office in your state immediately, and let them handle it.  DO NOT SEND THEM ONE DIME.  This is a fraudulent firm trying to get FREE money from you.

Called my business cell phone and left this voicemail:

"We can lower your interest rate on your current loans to 1.9% and it is a limited time offer. This is the only call we will make to you. Press 1 to talk to a representative, press 9 to remove".

My cell is registered with the do not call list, so obviously these annoying (ahem) are like the honey badger...they don't care.

Got a call from this number 15 minutes ago. No voicemail was left.

Got a call from them 26 minutes ago. Missed the call and no VM was left.

Just received a call from this number.  I didn't answer and there was no voicemail left.

Got a call from that number today at 11:30am today, did not answer, no voice mail, did not call again.

I just got a call from this number today. No voicemail, no more attempts to call. Does anyone know what this number wants?

My 12-year-old daughter has Text Plus on her ipad to send texts to her friends. I saw this number under missed calls twice. Text Plus gives you a phone number and she's given it to her friends but no one else. I guess they just stumbled on it randomly. Off to report to the FTC that they're harassing a minor.
