They keep calling my house asking to speak to my husband & when I ask who is calling, they hang up.

One of many calls received from the 980- area code generally, and 980-265-xxxx specifically in recent months.  Previous posts indicate an alleged breast cancer scam.

Called asking for deceased family member.  Asked why and they hung up. [***].

This person at this phone number: 980-265-5586 called and said they were NC State Police asking for money!  

Caller asked for me by name, then hung up when I replied.  I'm thinking my tone of voice prompted him to hang up

The number 980-265-5586 called and I picked it up and hung up all in the same time frame. The number called back with in seconds after I hung up the first time. Didn't answer this time just let it ring till they hung up...

My landline has a call-block feature, but alerts you to a blocked caller by ringing once.  This number has been trying to get through every 2 minutes for approximately 50 minutes.  Boneheads.

Calls & asks for my husband, when asked if I can take a msg. They hang up. Rude individuals. How can they call when we're on the do not call list? SMH

I called the number back and got a service voicemail.
