Called AGAIN on August 23, 2014 @ 9:44 A.M. That's it! Time to block these jokers.

I got a call today from 1-980-265-5604, the caller ID said Secure Home.  A few days ago I got a call from the same number but the caller ID said Charlotte NC.  Obviously scammers.  Gave them the old one ring pickup and hangup.

Caller ID said "980-265-5604 Secure Home"  Answered but got nothing, just a dial tone eventually.

No doubt just yet another home security system scam call.

Identified himself as jonathan Tyler. Answering machine picked up. Man said hello are you still there. I did not answer. I also am on the dnc list which is worthless as these people find other ways to get in.

Got a call this morning from this number, caller i.d. says "Secure Home", let's it ring and than hangs up. I'm on the DNC list and STILL get these calls. Enough already. The people need to get a "real" job like the rest of us.

Didn't leave message but has called numerous times. Not interested in anything they have to say or sell!!!

To fight these scum you have to take action yourself.....the do not call list is a joke (the FCC and congressional politicians have proven to be lapdogs for big business telemarketers and is now moving to give them and big media priority fast lane access to the internet.....the FCC chairman is (surprise) a former telecom lobbyist. If you do not have a call blocking feature (or run out of space), do yourself a favor and get a call blocker, and just plug it in to your phone line.....it will be the best money you ever spent.....lots of them out there, check Amazon,Google and Fleabay.   I got a device called Pro Call Blocker last year and it only costs around $50.  It stores up to 1500 or so numbers and uses caller ID.   Just scroll thru the incoming call list and hit the blacklist button for the spam ones and presto, no more rings on calls from this number (you can also manually enter numbers to block, entire area codes or all out of area numbers).  It logs all calls in or out. If you get this one, be sure to get the latest version (last I looked it was 2.2).  There is also another similar device called T-lock blocker which looks similar and came out late last year.  Phone line is pretty quiet now as there are no repeat calls (although a lot of these spammers have multiple numbers so you have to block each one as they come in). Note there are plenty of other ones out there that may work better or are cheaper, so get yourself a device and post back a review of its effectiveness to help the rest of the anti-spam community here and other sites.  Spammers have to hate these devices; it's always interesting to check the caller ID on the box periodically just to see how many times they try to call back (and get blocked).

I am reporting on this space because although the caller ID number is different, the company name associated with it is the same as the name associated with 980-254-5604.   My report:   I have gotten several calls from a caller my phone identifies as SECUREHOME, caller ID # 1-209-220-4350.  If I don't answer, they don't leave a message.  If I answer, no one responds to my Hello.  If I call the ID# I get a steady busy beep, whether I call right after their disconnect or call five or ten minutes later.
