When I picked up the phone and did not say anything there was a woman's voice and she said "Hello" loudly twice and hung up!  What is this?

I picked up the phone and a lady asked if the lady of the house was there and I said, Yes and she said hello, Susan?  I said no, and then she hung up.

Weird-O!

No message. Hang up call.

Call shows up as Breast Cancer or BCFA.  Uses different phone numbers.  When I told them to stop calling the woman on the other end started laughing.  I will report these scammers to our state attorney general's office.  I now have 20 call numbers blocked on my phone btr they always find a way around It!

Rings 3 times and hangs up

Received a call from this number before 8:30 on a Saturday morning. She asked for the lady of the house. When I asked who was calling she became angry and loudly replied, "Just so you know, this is Amanda (somebody) from the Breast Cancer (something)". To which I replied, "Just so you know, I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST" and hung up. Upsetting way to begin the day. Caller ID shows "BREAST CANCERFA"....

Asking for money for breast cancer patients. I am a breast cancer patient myself with very large medical bills. I asked the representative if she was calling to assist me. She promptly thanked me for my time and hung up. These types of organizations are scams. Little to NO money goes to breast cancer patients.

Amanda Thomas is starting her scam calls again. My research shows that this person does NOT run a legitimate charity fund. She thinks by yelling at you and telling you she is calling on behalf of some breast cancer fund you will waffle and donate. I donate to the verified funds and activities.

I repeatedly receive calls from this number. Supposedly they are with the Breast Cancer Awareness charity. I would like to STOP receiving calls from this organization.

I have received 2 phone calls form this lady. I didn't really talk to her the first time she called . She asked if the lady of the house was home. I wasn't in a mood to talk so I told her no. She sad she would call back later. Caller ID identified the # as BCAF.

I BLOCKED THIS CALLER.

Mom answered the phone, and a lady asked for her by name. When she said yes this is me, they hung up. WTH?

We have received multiple phone calls from this lady/number. Several for my mother and some for my father...both for them by their name.  When I answer, she asks for them by name if they are available, when I reply yes she starts in with a spiel...and I usually put her on speakerphone or sit the handset down until she finishes her speech or until I finish what I was doing....then return to the phone and say hello (again) and once she decides to re-acknowledge me (which only takes a few seconds) I inform her that I am not the party she has requested but that if she will tell me who she is I will get them for her, she then abruptly tell me, "We'll just try our call again later."  and hangs up....apparently not catching on to the fact that I will most probably be the one to answer the phone again next time.  As annoying as she is, I look forward to yanking her chain every Friday mid-morning....I now look forward to it...thanks to "SERKATE," I think I will now address her by her full name when she asks for my parents by their names...like she's an old pal of theirs....seems only fair, no???

same Amanda calls 3x a month at least... will not stop. this is a scam ...not a charity. DO NOT GIVE $$$

I got my as usual weekly call from Amanda,but I have had enough.(bear in mind she has been told politely NO many times and I am on the NCL) I am not a rude or malicious person but I have to admit that this time I turned the tables. I wish I could play it for the folks... I OWNED her this time. She actually laughed as she realized she had been had. I have had enough of her yelling,lying,scamming ass. She is NOT legit and there is no charity. She is a professional con artist. She will meet her Maker one day and have a lot of explaining to do. Repent while you can Amanda. If someone wishes to donate to breast cancer...The Susan .Komen  Foundation is legit.

Here is some advice.....DO NOT answer your phone or allow your machine to come on.  Every time you answer you are telling the scammers they have reached a good working number and they will call and call and call.  If you don't answer, after a few attempts, they will move on to another number.  Use some common sense....and don't make the scammers job that easy.....

The Amanda that calls you folks does not exist. The Breast Cancer charity does not exist as it's portrayed. This is a scam! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY.I have done the research on this claimed charity.. Don't even bother telling them to remove your # from the NCL, they have no intention of doing it and will use the conversation time to close you and/or gather more intel on you.

I get calls intermittently from this same number which also shows up as BCAF on my caller ID.  I never answer calls I'm not sure of myself, will always let the machine handle them.  If it is someone I am not familiar with that has some "real" information I need to hear they can leave a message.  Whoever makes the call has a male's voice but does not leave a message other than just asking for me by first name a couple times as in, "Is Jack there?" then hangs up when no one responds.  I've called the number back and it comes up as not in service at this time.  These folks are using this number with a Charlotte area code but who really knows where the call originates, could be from anywhere with the computer technology today.  If the calls persist I'll *57 them each time and then make a complaint to Roy Cooper State of NC attorney general's office.  Not sure if the *57 call trace will do more than just caller ID but it just might lead authorities to the culprits if everyone does this!

We received a call from this saying BCFA also.  They should be investigated.

This is a scam, using breast cancer as a means to get your money.  Hang up and blacklist the number.
