It's not a phony caller. It's the fraternal order of police looking for donations.  They call every year. Annoying but not a fake or fraud. They do not have a do not call list.

Explained that I have no money to give. She said I was ignorant and hung up on me. I regret ever giving a penny to them and certainly will never give again.

Refused to identify themselves when they called my number and I answered I do not want them to call my number

A. The National Fraternal Order of Police does not conduct telephone solicitations. However, some State and local FOP lodges do. If you have a question about a telephone call you received requesting that you make a donation to the FOP, please contact the local FOP lodge in your area or the FOP State Lodge in your state.

Caller ID said "Charity"....didn't answer..no message on voice mail

Here is the contact for the North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police. The calls are coming from the Charlotte NC area. I just filled out the form asking if this is a scam or not. If not, I asked to have my number removed from their call list.

This number keeps calling 2-3 times a day even after being told numerous times to stop calling.

The same guy continues to call my house ignoring my polite requests to stop calling. He leaves messages on my voicemail calling me by name, sometimes calls twice a day. Also calls weekends!
