These guys just called and asked for my dad and I was like hes not here, I'm his and (my mother name)'s daughter. The man said "thats wonderful(sarcastically)...are you 18 or older?" I replied no and he said "I'll just call back later.." He was very monotone, he didn't say who he was or w/e. Then again the phone was a bit staticy and there was a lot of background noise on his end. In my opinion..FREAK.

Yes...theeir phone systems says they're s fundraising company for charities, so I guess the do-not-call rules don't apply

Answered call and no one said anything but could hear breathing. Repeatedly said HELLO but no reply. Very annoying!!

Thanks for the info. They just called me at 12:13 p.m. Will call several times a day, but never leaves a voice message.

I received calls from this number, which shows up Unknown Name on my caller ID.  They leave no message so I don't know who it is calling.  How do I keep them from calling me??

I received a very weird/rude phone call from this number asking for my husband, then Mrs.(me), and then for some reason was asked if he could speak to my mother.  I told him I was the adult, and he hung up on me.  They never identified themselves.  I tried to call the number back and got a recording saying it was a fundraiser number, but didn't give the name.  From this website I found out it could be the NC Fraternal Order of Police and I called the number on their website and the lady confirmed it was their fundraiser line.  She said I can submit a formal complaint by emailing ncfop@nc.rr.com and tell them to remove my number.  Hope this helps out others.

They called twice yesterday when I answered they hung up. today I let the answering maching pick up they never spoke

They keep on calling at random times over the past year...Have had 3 calls from this number in two days, the first time I answered, it was a guy saying that he was calling regarding an order I had placed, I hanged up knowing that I haven't placed any orders.  Second time, I didn't answer the phone-no message was left.  This morning I answered and a it was a male calling from the NC Fraternal Order of Police regarding a fund raiser-told him that I don't do charities over the phone and hung up! Annoying!
By the way, I'm on the do not call list too.

I get calls from 980 939 7534 all the time.  I do not answer the phone and they do not leave a number.  It is really annoying.

I got a call from this number this morning at 8:11 am.  I suspected it was from the FOP and your website confirmed it.  They called the other day and I answered it.  The connection was so bad I could hardly hear them.  When I told them that, I was able to understand them when they asked, "You can't hear me?".  I answered no, and then they said something else, and they hung up.  After they hung up, I realized that they said, "Then how did you know what I said?"  I was hoping they would call back so I could tell them how RUDE they are, but they didn't.  The FOP has ALWAYS been rude and demanding in the past, and I swore a long time ago that I will never give them money again.  I prefer to give my money to nice people.

8:25 AM! 09 08 2009... "out of area" on caller ID..caller 980 939 7534.  Said was raising funds for "children. blah blah blah" and with the police. I said I have police friends and he said, "They are NOT important to Me unless they are in a LODGE."  Explained I'm on fixed income, took 3 years to get disability, and put me on the no call back li....  HANG UP from him!

There was a long silence after I answered, then a faint voice gave me a toll free number to call and hung up.  What's up with this?

Due to the circumstances, I refuse to give my name, due to the fact that these calls are happening to me as well & if they do not have my name, I refuse to help aid there ability of retrieving that information by posting it on any site over the net...  However!  I to live in the NC area & just received this call that displayed
"OUT OF AREA"  980-939-7534 when I picked up, I said hello twice & as I was hanging up, I heard a man's voice...  Due to the fact that I was hanging up as they said there first word I did not catch what the first word even was...  My advice to "EVERYONE" out there is do what I normally do, screen your calls & NEVER PICK UP FOR "OUT OF AREA or PRIVATE CALLER"  If it is someone whom you know people common sense THEY WILL TALK & YOU CAN DECIDE AT THAT TIME IF YOU CHOSE TO TALK TO THEM...  (This time I was expecting a call from my daughter!) So whom ever it was just caught me off guard...  I hope I have helped out by writting something on this as well...

Just got yet another call from these folks. Have gotten many from Faternal Order of Police.
This time silent on other end. I said, "Hello, hello?" No answer. When I get someone on the other end I just start complaining about how not much art being sold these days and ask if I can sell them some....
