    I should add in response to: "...or would no longer like to receive updates or special offers..."  I never called them to start with. I have no idea what they are selling except aggravation. I'm fairly certain this is a ruse to get people to voluntarily leave their names and phone numbers to they can be "legitimately" added to "their" (whomever they are) lists and sold to telemarketers and sales companies as verified contacts.

    Difficult to say. . . is this a telemarketer, a phisher of info, or straight up scam caller???
