This number, and hundreds more like it all located in different states other than where this business is physically located, all belong to a company called "Berlin-Wheeler Inc, 2942A SW Wanamaker Dr #200, Topeka, KS 66614, (785) 271-1000" - They CONTINOUSLY call my cell phone, which is ILLEGAL (violates the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act - FDCPA), for a debt collection that is NOT mine. I do NOT have any outstanding debt, my house is fully paid off, and I'm now retired due to health issues. I have informed this SCAM company of this, as well as the fact that they are violating Federal Law - ON A RECORDED LINE multiple times - and they simply do NOT care and continue to call looking for someone else. Filing a formal complaint with the FCC, the FTC, the BBB, and the Attorney General's Office of Kansas. Also, their BBB records clearly speaks for itself, as it's one of the lowest I've ever seen...

Nowhere in the FDCPA does it state that they cannot call your cell phone.  They can legally call any phone number that was given to the original creditor.

Then needs to be communicated with them preferably by certified, return receipt mail.  They are used to debtors trying to dodge them by claiming that they are not the party the DC is looking for.

The FCC has absolutely no jurisdiction over debt collection calls.  The FTC no longer takes debt collection complaints because those are now under the purview of the CFPB.  The BBB is a useless and worthless and toothless entity.  Unless you are a resident of that state then you should be contacting your own AG.

That is a bit of a dramatization since they have an Accredited B rating.

Leave it to "Big A" - who clearly has NO life - to come on other people's posts (yet again) and try to debunk things. My attorney, which you are clearly NOT an attorney, states otherwise when it comes to them calling my cell phone illegally after they have been notified that they have the wrong number. Finally, accreditation with the BBB is a joke. I've owned multiple businesses over the years, and was an active member with them since 1985 up until 2 years ago. The BBB rating is nothing more than a paid rating as they have NO teeth and are useless.

I said that as well in my post.  Maybe you should go back to school and take reading comprehension classes?  Do you also want to dispute the fact that the FCC has no jurisdiction over debt collection calls?  Because I can prove that they don't.  I welcome you to prove that anything that I posted using the information that you and you alone provided was incorrect.  Make sure that you can cite your verifiable, reliable sources,  laws, rules and regulations and/or case law.
