Same as everyone else here.  Got a call a couple weeks ago from a 985 #, they kept calling, I finally answered and it was a man with a Indian accent saying he was from Microsoft.  I laughed and hung up.  Reported him to the national do not call website.  Now I'm getting these calls from Amanda Garvin.  They call every night at 11pm and during the day.

Got a call before 7am today. Did not answer they woke me up. They even call well after 10pm. Someone needs to shut them down.

Caller with thick accent said he was from Windows Technical Support. He said I had viruses on my laptop that would harm and affect my personal identity. I asked what his name was, and he said, "Scott Jones." He was being very persuasive and persistent, but I kept asking clarifying questions. I told him I wasn't even using my laptop and it was my friend's laptop. Total scam. If you look up Microsoft support, you will find information on what they would never do. They are also collecting all these scam reports to do further investigation so you can fill one out.

Call at 11:30 p.m. (awakened me)  This is NOT the first time late-night or very early phone calls from Louisiana.  But this time it was from Amanda Garvin - showing on my phone ID.  Phone # 985-606-0307.  Nasty individual who harrases people in the middle of the night.  Give it up, Amanda !!!

We also have been getting these calls, from the same Indian accent male, he even had our address ! He was told to stop calling and the jerk called back a few hours later. Will definitely be contacting the attorney general and anybody else I can.

These crooks w/Indian accents have used several numbers, calling us for weeks very late or very early: another 985 exchange allegedly from Thibodeaux and a 510 962-4561 from Haywood, CA.  After being nasty the first 8 calls, we now check phone look up and see that still same old team pretending to be Msft.  Have contacted Do Not Call Registry and FTC w/complaints, to no avail.

Ditto to all of the above comments. Indian guy called at 10:00 pm. Claimed to be microsoft tech. Gave me my address, but he was incorrect. I asked him if he thought what he was doing was believable and told him not to call back. He tried to argue with me, saying that hackers are in my computer. He didn't stop this claim even after I told him I don't have a computer! I hung up on him and then found this site.

Got a call from the so called "windows support team". The female identified herself as Victoria and said that I had a virus on my computer. I told her that windows does not have servers that id problems on someone's computer and that windows does not call people to tell them about problems with their computers. She asked me "who told you this?" I said I knew it was a scam and I was not going to waste any more time talking to her. I hung up and looked up the number. I wish they would just give up this bull$#!t already.

Same bull as everyone else has said. He was very frantic telling me that hackers and 'malacious' software were in my compute. Told him I use DOS lol he continued to insist that I turn on my computer so he could show me. I told him that I knew what this was and that I had his phone number and was going to call the cops, at which point he started yelling over me. Bold [***].

Scammers.  Relentless.  They have called me from this telephone # and 7 other numbers - started a month ago.  I block the numbers as they appear in my phone log.  They just hijack new numbers & keep calling.  PITA!!  Not sure I understand the business model here - after sufficient abuse, I'm going to change my mind & send them money??  Stupid.

I work 3 midnight shifts and take care of my 86yr old grandmother. I got home she said someone called about your computer @ 6:52am est. NY they called last night @ 10:15pm then 10:22pm. I answered the 10:22pm screaming at the top of my lungs because I'm sleep deprived , and was actually SLEEP!!!!!!!! I told him ( guy thick Indian accent stated in most comments) stop calling and why would you call at crazy hours. "Ma'am we will continue to call you for the rest of your life if you continue to behave this way" WHAT!!!!!!  I just slammed the phone down the only reason I have a land line is because of my grandmother it's her # and she doesn't use cell phones

They called me 12 in one day and left no message.  They even called at 7:20 A.M.

Same thing, but calls come in late - 10:45pm!

I finally informed that I was recording their call to turn into my states AG office and that I knew that it was a scam call.
The male caller proceeded to curse me out, I thanked him for proving my point and then hung up.
Received one call yesterday morning at 7:30 said the same, and what a joy today they have yet to call.
