Received a call from them this morning.  When answered, there was no active recording, though it sounded like one was trying to play.  Eventually, I just hung up.

Called and left a few seconds of silence on the voicemail.  Another scam.

Wasn't home to receive this call & the caller left no message. Wouldn't have answered anyway as I know no one who lives in Louisiana and do no business there. High probability this is a scam, so blocked and reported to donotcall.gov

looks like they're at it again....just called - Louisiana number , I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message....SPAMMER for sure

Just got a call from this number at 7 PM! Blocking it.

MDS operates global charity and other money soliciting scams from boiler room operations. Never donate to anything over the phone!!!

Covington, LA - probably a spoofed number for the scammers. Using old company data to drudge up a manager name. These scams are sad.

the call came from Covington LA...985-635-4267. They called and left a message that they were calling for the Social Security Administration and my bank --and if I did not call back they would take legal action --  Soc. Sec. said it is a scam - so be alert!

This number along with the other numbers listed below belongs to a company called MDS Communications and these are just the ones I have complied up to this point.  They “say” they raise money for other companies but they have a sorted and shady history and keep the lion’s share of the money that is raised.  They will also use the same number but spoof the caller ID to show a variety cities or businesses.  That alone is not honest and makes them a scammer.  As soon as I block one number, they pop-up with a new one, it’s a constant game of Whack-A-Mole.

In 2013, . . . . MDS Communications Corp. . . . raised $12.4 million and kept $7.5 million. The company is based in Arizona and is considered one of the five largest fundraising companies in the U.S. . . . BEWARE!

We have BLOCKED over 250 CALLS despite being on the EVERY CALL LIST AVAILABLE.

You do realise scammers ignore the DNC lists, right?

This number has called twice today and it has rang thru even after blocking it and having the silence feature switched on my phone for non contacts. It didn’t take them long to circumvent those features.
