For about the past two weeks every day we get a call  from some one claiming to be AT&T  to make sure we have the best possible service available.
Always starts with the question  "so what do you like to do over the internet?"

First off the bat,  I say I have no clue who I am talking to and we have the best service and I don't entertain strangers on the phone.  If I need a different service or a better deal I call the number on my phone bill to get in touch with my service provider.
Oddly enough its always the same man and the calls come in random as late as 8:45pm  but every single day at  random times.
Finally yesterday I requested to be removed from the call list and was promised  to not get more calls within a month.
The person is polite, never the less these types of calls are unwelcome especially with the frequency it might be considered as harassment as far as I am concerned.
When I search the phone number  the carrier comes up as Alltel communications MI
but it is a wireless number and the look up is for a fee.
How is one to know who is really calling.
I am sending my phone carrier AT&T a copy of this note.
This is an odd marketing strategy in my opinion and just in case it's a bogus call it should be addressed by my Telephone carrier AT&T.

This guy calls me 2-3 times every day, fortunately, I have a block call feature on my phone.

This number calls all the time. 8 times today. Say nothing. Says Saginaw, MI so i ask "why saggy ball call here"?

I started getting calls from this number a couple days ago. It's some guy with an accent claiming to be from AT&T. I just hung up and blocked the number. Just now I checked the call logs and saw where they've been calling back several more times. Thank goodness for call blocking!

13 phone calls since Nov 27.  My phone is a Skype phone number so i just block the number.

If you get a call from this telemarketer, please file a complaint with the FCC and FTC: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx. If they receive enough complaints, they'll investigate. In addition, they send information on how to file a lawsuit. Information on their website says they have shut down five of these scams.

This number and its associates have been calling several times a day for the past several weeks. They don't leave any messages on voicemail. Caller ID says ATT.

For about the past three weeks , I have been getting a call from 989-220-3853.  The letters ATT flash upon the screen along with the above telephone number.  The caller calls at least three times a day, with the last call coming in around 9 p.m.  AT&T needs to put a block on the above number. It is not fair for AT&T customers to have to tolerate harassing callers.

I received this unwanted call altho I'm on Do Not Call.  This is sdpam.

Stop calling me...if I want or need specific services I will contact the company

I have been getting calls from this ATT but I had it blocked. Well, they thought they would outsmart me and they tried this number today. I didn't answer it and I immediately blocked the area code so it will not ring here again from this number or any other number if I have the area code blocked from some other calls.

I've been getting these two to three times a day, from three different phone numbers:

989-220-3853
210-255-3192
321-244-8390

All come up on caller id as "ATT".  I filled out and submitted a complaint form to the FCC today.

Good post.  My wife have started to actively record the date, time, and phone number (so far we've found three different numbers "ATT" is using to call us with) each time we receive a call.  I've submitted a complaint to the FCC, and will attach more information to that complaint (or file a new one) once I get more information to submit.

caller id "ATT".  Am on the do not call registry.

Just started getting calls from this number (989-220-3853) quite frequently w/in the last week.  Again all it says is ATT.  I don't answer and there are no messages left.  Today we are getting calls from "ATT" but the number is 210-255-3192. Going to write ATT to see if this is them - but I'm guessing it's someone who figured out how to make it show ATT.  I'll report back if they respond.  

spoke to a rep at AT&T - as I'm sure you guessed it is NOT AT&T calling.  sorry for missing the numbers above :)  the rep recommended to file a complaint with the FCC and FTC as stated above in a previous comment    so I'm just the repeater ... : )

Got a call from this number. Caller ID said ATT.

No message left.

the do not call list is useless, at&t isnt going to do anything all they care about is the almighty dollar, so they are useless also.
I leave my phone and answering off and when i get home from work i just delete the calls on the caller ID.
And ive had calls from (att) from at least 4 different numbers.
