scam caller,  called and said they are officer jack  at x4927  Santa Clara county legal case Federal complaint on a Identity Case from the IRS  Wanting me to surrender myself....
Or they will send cops to my House and work ... Defiantly a Scammm

My husband got the same sort of garbled message saying that there were complaints against him from the IRS and that he had to call back officer at the santa clara county sheriff's office James Davis at 408-808-4400 x 1705.  For an added touch he said that if you don't believe me, talk to your attorney.

Hah!  Now they are including one fact, among the lies.

408-808-4400 actually is the Santa Clara Sheriff's office.  But... 1) the IRS doesn't file "cases" against you in court, and 2) even the Federal agencies that file these totally mythical "claims" don't use the County Sheriff to serve anything.

I got a call from 408-808-4400 & 202-738-1073 claiming to be an IRS agent stating I owed taxes from 2010-2015 due to errors on my part.

Lady calls stating there is some fraud case filed against me by some James Green attorney and he is located in Brooklyn, NY. She tries to tell me that I should have received notification by mail & I say well obviously not if I have moved & have no knowledge of anything. Also, I have never been arrested, had a warrant, or a case filed against me for anything ever. I have had my identity stollen & reported it many times. She does know the last 4 of my SSN#, but no other pertinent info. Tells me she cannot give me a contact number for the attorney's office or anything. I decide to call the phone number after she finally hangs up is for a Sherriff department in a county I lived in 10 years ago & have moved many times since. I redialed the phone number & spoke to a Sherriff operator, he told me it is a scam. Whoever is spoofing the number of law enforcement to pull this type of BS is extremely low on my list of bottom feeders. Nice try!!
