We get several calls a day from this number. We won't answer because we do not know who it is.

I recieved several calls but no message from this number. I checked my caller ID and called the number back. There was an automated message for Stone Bridge Life Insurance. The recording refered you to an 800 number if you where interested.

I also have received several calls from this number. What did you do to cancel the calls?

I called this number back on my cellphone after receiving the original call on my home phone with 'unknown name' in the caller window

The answering party identified with a recording " all representatives are busy....leave a message..."
and here's the "money shot"

the caller was: DIRECTV.... very suspicious that call was generated from an apparently local number...

UPDATE: after reading the remarks above that the same number sourced other different telemarketers I suspect it is one of those "dial a deal" numbers; every time this robodialer rings at your home the  minute you answer and the line goes "hot" a possibly different telemarketer is matched to the pickup...

This number keeps calling. Yesterday (October 8, 2014) this number called my home phone 4 times starting at 9 am and ending about 11:30 am. I have AT&T for my home service phone and when I went to block this number it said that it could not be blocked. I find that strange and it makes me upset that I cannot block a number harassing my home!

Cancel your service with AT&T. They were not willing to block several ongoing calls listed as unknown without paying for this service.  That helped me make my decision.
