Did you apply for a loan recently?
If you did then it may be a legitimate call to clear up something about the application.
However, if you did not (I am assuming that is probably the case) then there are 2 possibilities:
#1. They are trying to reach someone who did and got the wrong number. (It is possible.)
#2. They are trying to phish financial information from you that can be used to scam you or steal your identity (Far more possible than #1).

Callback number for a loan scam that has been pestering me almost every day since August 18th (this being the 31st call from this particular system, 41 loan scam calls this year alone).  Blocking numbers typically don't do any good because they always call from a spoofed number.

This is what the message says.
Um, hi! This is, uh, Sam, with the personal loan review unit. I wanted to check in as we start the month, and I see notes in your file that one of my teammates tried reaching you last week, but we weren't able to connect, so I'm following up one more time. Your file is nearly approved and set for 63, 000 on a 60 month term.
From what I see, the payment structure is already lined up. We just need to go over a couple of quick stuff with you before sending out the contract. If you're available now, press two to connect with underwriting, or if it's easier, you can call us back at 844-509-3322.
