This is a follow up number left in a voicemail message from a debt collector. The number that called is 262-229-8083.

They keep calling everyone I know but won't mail info so I can verify. Say they don't need to and are treating me with things

What things were they treating you with?  Candy?  Dinners at nice restaurants?  A play at the theater?  A "Spa Day"?

Perhaps you meant to state they were "threatening" you.

Keeps leaving a message about possible litigation filed against my social security number

“Jason Charles” left a message saying they have a “claims of liability” against my “name and social security number”, but didn’t bother mentioning my name, my initials, or even the last four of my SSN. It sounded like AI to me. On a different note, I also just got a spam text from the Philippines (I’m in Kansas) telling me I have an unpaid tickets, and a separate call from a debt collector for someone who isn’t me. I think my phone number got sold and everyone is out to scam. I’m not taking the bait.

Like the others recently, “Jason Charles” left a message saying they filed a “claim of liability” against my “name and social security number” in their office, but didn’t bother mentioning my name or anything in the actual message. At the very beginning, an obviously robotic sounding voice said a name very similar to my name, but not my name. I suspect it might be a legit debt collector, but for the wrong person, and they're just using information from web searches.

Legitimate debt collectors do not make statements that they filed a “claim of liability” against someone's “name and social security number”.  They are not allowed to say anything about a debt until after they have confirmed they are speaking with the actual debtor.
Such phrases are veiled threats used by scammers, posing as debt collectors, to try and frighten their intended victim into calling back.

"Block" the number, ignore and delete any further messages they may leave and do not call back.
They will give up on your number after a while if you ignore them.

The same thing happened to me as to the people above, but the calls are from 2 “different” people: a call from Jason Charles called from 936-234-8298, 346-348-1224, 979-321-6735 – “claim of liability against name and SS#/Richard McNamara called from 346-348-1224 “the office of A-A-R-S.”

Yes i got the same call totally AI 855-291-1510
