"Equity loan" for a house that I lived in and was sold over 10 years ago .
1. Did not live in the house long enough to build any equity and get a loan
2. Sold house and got my pay out from my mortgage Co.
Just looked up my credit report....there is no $9000 hit on it. Nice try....give u an E for effort

Got a call saying they took over my loan and owe them over $41K for a 2nd lien on my house when I bought back in 2005. Called my current Mtg company they said no your loan is still with us. They even fedex me paper work back when I took out my mgt with WMC. SCAMMERS

This number repeatedly calls asking for a person that no longer lives at this address.  Very rude and annoying. Does not say their name or company just has this number that comes on my caller I’d.

Shellpoint. They keep calling me regarding a debt my ex racked up in my name apparently? seems like BS to me, nothing shows up on my credit reports etc. pretty sure it's a scam somehow.

Called me today stating that I had mortgage with company. I asked foot them to send meter with this info. He said that they have m. Not true. There is no mortgage

This number calls me alot. So yesterday I decided to answer it, said it was so and so from shellpoint Mortgage and asked me if I was and said my name, I said yes, he said can I have the last 4 digits of your social to verify it's you. I said I don't hardly think so and hung up. I don't have a mortgage thru a company. I don't know if it was legit or not but I wasn't taking chances.

I just got a call from this Shellpoint also asking to verify my last 4 social, i told him that`s not a secure thing to discuss over the phone and this guy kept demanding my info. I just said I would be doing my own investigations because I`ve never owned or bought a home. I rent my home. Always have. What are these ppl tryng??. Just idiots trying to make easy money. He hung up after i asked for his employee id and supervisor name. lol
