They provide auto financing to people with bad credit at an extremely high rate of interest.

I am getting many calls from 866 254 0497. When I answer the phone there nothing but silence. I am handicapped and this is causing problems. I called this number and was told that it is the computer doing this, you know this is the standard answer for everyone. Why can't they put a recorder on this number with a message to hold for the next available service rep.

I keep getting calls from these people looking for "John".  I confirm the number they dialed was mine, however I don't know "John".  The number they keep calling is MY CELL number.  I've had it for 13 years and I am the ONLY person to ever have this number.  It was a new number when it was issued to me.

I will report them if they keep calling.

I keep getting calls from (Gus) at Service Finance Company. After repeating several times, and on several separate occasions that we are not interested, and they insist on trying to have our firm offer their financing program, and after stating to take our # off their list, he simply says, '' ok, I'll call you tomorrow.
Then immediately calls back and then hangs up.

I have filed a report, for bad business practices, as well as harassment.

They continue to call my phone and ask for different people.  Asking several times if I am that person.  I hang up on them telling them they have the wrong number.  They need to be stopped!  Where are our rights to have a phone and not be harassed

No message means telemarketer.  2/16 @ 9:39 AM.  I don't need their services and IF I did, it surely would not be on the phone. Cannot be important enough to leave message to call back them.

Legitimate. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number, but It made sense when I heard the voicemail. They were reminding/notifying me that a loan (promotional financing plan) had been finalized for my HVAC system replacement that was installed the day before.  They mentioned the name of the company I purchased from, and I had asked the sales guy for the name of the financier, so it all checks out.

Had a call late this evening from this number.
The guy told my wife that the loan was approved and he just needed to have me give some details and sign the paperwork.

Now that is strange.  Here's some background...
I have a financing application (which doesn't include my wife's name) via a good reliable HVAC contractor who lives just down the road from me.
All the details were dealt with through the contractor, who confirms that nobody will call me except his finance clerk in the office.
Seeing as how I already have given my details etc. to the clerk, who has done the background checks etc,.  I do not see this enquiry as genuine.

It is more likely that his organization has seen my name on a standard report as having asked for credit or a loan, and is cold calling me to scam a loan through a higher interest company.

My wife told him I couldn't come to the phone and he told her he would call back in 5-10 minutes.  He did not.

I was advised by my HVAC installer that as I was taking a loan for the system, that this company, who provide the loan, would be calling me to confirm that the work was completed to my satisfaction before they paid the HVAC company. I expected that the call would state the name ' Service Finance' but no it was this 866 number which I initially ignored until I had researched on 800 notes.

Just a note, they're a legit company.  Service Finance Company, in Boca Raton, FL.  They finance home improvement loans.  We got an HVAC loan through them (10  years at 9.99% which is high but we had a lot of outstanding debt at the time.  I don't mind, actually.).  They are very nice people to deal with.  Although I thought it was weird that the display panel said "Boca Raton FL" and not "Sevice Finance Company."  Maybe they figure if their name is used, people wouldn't answer thinking they're a 3rd party debt collection co.?  Since they finance the riskier loans, it might make sense that they expect some people they call will be afraid to answer.

I would imagine if some of you are getting calls from this number, that it could be loan payment reminders, and that the collection process may be automated, I don't know.  Anymore, companies can use software that only gets a live person on a line if someone says "hello."  We just do an automatic bank draft so we never get those calls.

If they keep calling and you haven't financed anything through this company, call them and let them know because they may be trying to collect from a number that used to belong to one of their customers.

Just a note, your post reads like you're a shill. Why, when you clearly know to whom this number belongs, would you look it up? To tell us how wonderful this scammer is?

Why thank you for bringing this criminal enterprise to our attention.  Now we know to report on it and tell everyone how to sue your employer into oblivion.  I hope you have another job lined up since your boss won't be too happy about you coming here lying about this outfit and drawing attention.

You seem to know "just enough" to appear convincing, but then again, that IS what people (shills) who spoof legitimate numbers do when they want to reassure call recipients its safe to give up money or personal info.
Never trust a caller to be who they claim, always call from an official number to verify if they did call.

Because, I look up ALL numbers I do not recognize.  JUST.LIKE.YOU.DO.  When we set up our loan i did not put their number into my cell phone.  If you don't trust the number you don't recognize, do what I did and Google for it, and call them directly from the Web, rather than returning the call you don't recognize.  JUST.LIKE.SMART.PEOPLE.SHOULD.DO.

The company is Service Finance. I had windows that protected me from hurricanes and trees falling on my home. If this sounds something you had done. Ok good

I financed an HVAC system with RS Andrews. This company purchased the loan and called to confirm that the work had been completed successfully.
