This is a scam, they call you every day and ask you for information and they expect you to give it to them

What is there to get to the "bottom of"?  This is a scam!
No legitimate lender calls up people to offer unrequested loans.
About the only thing you may find out is if it is just an advanced fee scam or if they are primarily after bank account information so they can drain the account.
But, it does not really matter, they are obviously a scam and if a called person does not respond they cannot be scammed.

They are trying to steal your financial information. Obviously no one’s going to call you randomly and offer 30 plus thousand dollars never requested. These ppl are using fake ai voiceovers to sound legit Total scam, fakes. Ignore, block and spread the word.

They have been calling me multiple times a day. Today I asked for their company name and the said Lending Resource Center in San Diego California. No such place. I wish there was a way we could get them to stop calling...who can we report them to?

A voicemail was left by 810-727-2141 asking for a return call to 866-959-1387, a well known scam number used to push a loan scam.  Return call to 810-272-2141 confirms the number is not in service, which is typical for these scammers.

I am getting multiple calls a day, every day, and block the calls every time. They call back under different numbers. It's RELENTLESS. I just keep not answering, but it is non stop. I even set up spam blockers on my phone but they just keep showing up. Maddening.

And since they claim to be a lender, file a report at:
The CFPB:  https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/
Make sure to include the callback number in your reports.
