The is no official VA Survey over the phone.  The only VA calls a vet gets is in regards to appts etc. I personally would enjoy getting my hands on somebody trying to scam a Vet....Santa do I need to say anything else?

Received call from number supposedly doing VA survey. Didn't feel it could be legitimate and did not cooperate. Glad I declined after seeing these posts.

American Directions Group is a contractor used to conduct surveys for the Veteran Administration especially if you are enrolled in Mental Health. I called to confirm after doing the survey. I also received a call from the Veterans Administration Crisis Hotline as a follow up for my concern. They're legit.(888) 223-2682 http://www.adg-research.com/

They've called me 8x in the past 48 hours. I answered the phone twice, and there was no reply so I hung up. If it was a survey they would speak words to the person on the other end of the phone who they called.

The calls are placed automatically by computer and only transferred to a human operator AFTER someone answers, which is also why you'll never get a voicemail message. Sometimes it takes several seconds for an available operator to pick up the call. I'm a veteran and like DH said above, this is a legitimate survey for the VA.

I received one in the mail. Filled it out and this is a follow-up. Idk ehat they could scam from me off of a general survey about my health care provider. I'll answer next time and update if I loose anything.

Yes there is. It is in regards to Mental Health. I've done it and it came from this number. I double checked with my head shrinker and she confirmed.

I received TWO calls today 8.30.17, which I sent to voicemail. There was no msg left. A previous attempt was back in June 2017. I won't do any VA surveys as they don't allow for personalized answers,  which would reveal the true lack of care. This will be another number added to my reject list.

I called both the 800-827-1000 and 800-273-8255 Numbers.  The first had no info, but the crisis line said that the number is in their system.     I'll answer their questions as long as no personal identification info is asked of me.  Even legit, you have to be careful.

This is a scam! Beware,  divulge nothing,  don't even answer. Report to your local VA office. These idiots just called me at 9:30 p.m.. My question is, how are they getting Veterans phone numbers? It would be easy to get a list, but knowing they are vets?

I got the call yesterday from a real person. They left a vm as I do not answer unknown calls.  Still don’t think I would take this supposed survey.

They called me last Saturday and were asking about my appointments at the VA.  I asked the person three times if she was a VA employee and she lied to me three times. I answered three questions and hung the phone and called back it was obvious that she was not a VA employee. I talked to one of the VA big bosses today in person and he had no clue what I was talking about and suggested that I call the VA Central Office in DC. Because even if it is legit I never once agreed or okayed the VA giving any of my personnel info to some outside agency and I want off of the list even if its legit!!! And if it is not legit how the hell did they get my info??

They said they are a survey company doing a survey for the VA., and yes it was for mental health. They had a whole ray of questions some which were pretty sensitive. They said they would follow up in 12 weeks.
