They left a message and said it was Center Point Energy wanting a call back about billing

thats funny....dont have nor have I ever had Centerpoint Energy so they cant be calling me about billing!!!

It is most definitely Centerpoint energy and they do leave messages. If you don't have the service from them, then you might want to call them tto find out why they have an account under your name.  I would know...I worked in their billing for about 4 years.....and I am a current customer as well.

It’s odd because I am getting calls from the exact same number saying the exact same thing. On top of that a month ago I talked to a man that left me a weird message that wasn’t from the number. He was saying that he was going to turn their gas off. I asked him why he said that & he claimed that my number was tied up to another account. Made me think after I told him I wasn’t those people that he would of had my number removed. Just to be safe I am going to call 800-477-0177 the actual number for CenterPoint Energy for my area. With all the scams going on I am going to call the number listed for the company instead of the number that called claiming to be them. I will reply again & say what happened after I talk to them.

Just got my phone number removed from actual Center Point Energy themselves. Now if I get any more phone calls about people in Gunther street I will be raising hell. Lol ok but turns out my phone number really was linked to another account so idk. Just in this day & age with scams going on it’s hard to know he is real & who is fake.

You can't call the number back anyways it says the number or code you entered is invalid.. I really need the LIHEAP services they say they're calling about..

Well then you should call your county welfare office since they are the ones who take care of that.

Utility scam all the way.  CenterPoint does not do business this way. Look up CenterPoint customer service, call that number and you will see. Damn scammers!

Centerpoint does not do billing. That is done by the energy company that has your account.

CenterPoint is a utility. Therefore they would do billing. Why are you trying to purposely mislead people?

Centerpoint website states they do not call about bills.  Tge cs number tgey provide is not this number.
