This number left message to call Bank of America it was very imp.  Said they were open to 8pm then changed it to 9pm pacific time.  I have several numbers for Bank of America and their number would not have said unknown.  Not even bothering to call back!  I know it’s a scam.

Just got a call from "Bank of America" wanting me to verify my birthday.  Told them I would call them back (gave me time to search the number). Looks and smells like a scam.

I verified this number with Bank of America. It is a legitimate number.

(800) 536-1584 has called my phone 22 times in the past seven days. A voice mail was left on the 22 call claiming I must call Bank of America. The name on three calls said ‘Account Services.’ The voice said to call (800) 888-9030.

Best to not call this number or any number they leave but instead call a known phone number for them, such as the one found on their official website. Scammers frequently spoof legitimate phone numbers so one should never trust a random caller to be who they claim.

They left me a voicemail that I didnt see right away. It said they needed to talk to me about my account and that it was urgent and I needed to call back that day. About a week went by before I saw the voicemail and I didnt recieve any other calls or emails about my account. When I talked to bank of america they said there was nothing wrong with my accounts. Totally a scam

You sure of that? Every single scam alert and BBB website I’ve visited says this is a scam. Bank of America themselves stated this number was not them.

This phone number is legitimate. It was Bank of America informing me i was past due on one of my credit cards. They asked for my date of birth before explaining the call to verify my identity for security purposes but afterwards they were able to tell me everything about my account from purchases to the balance on the card and even my SSN.

I got a voicemail from this phone number saying it was from Bank of America regarding an important servicing matter. Came here to check others opinions and decided to call back. It turned out to be legitimate. I had forgot to pay my credit card bill and they were calling to remind me and take a payment.

Wow, you've had 2 legitimate calls from 2 different BoA numbers! What are the odds of that? I gave you the benefit of the doubt on your other post but now I'm thinking you're a shill.

I'm just sharing my experience with this phone number man. I'm not forcing you to call them. It turned out alright for me and that's all i was trying to say.

Said there was a “important service matter” and to call back at 888-800-9030. I knew it was a scam call. They said to call back during middle eastern time.

Scam trying to steal bank info

I called Bank of America. He said that these are their numbers: 888 800 9030 and 888 727 9212. it is the Collections Dept. It could be that someone spoofed this.

I received a call from them 2x, and hung up first time thinking scam. Finally answered them and they do verify you before providing you your own information. It’s collections department for Bank of America It’s not a scam.

Shill alert! Why else would you look up a known phone number? Especially since you can't 100% guarantee that ALL calls from this number are "collections department for Bank of America It’s not a scam" when scammers spoof legitimate phone numbers all the time.
