I picked up but did not answer.   An automated voice said it was WellCare (my part D insurance) calling;  when I declined to respond to identify myself, the voice kept asking if (my name) was available;  again, when I declined it asked if I could take a message for "me".  Possibly legit - I have had calls from "Ava" (left message) about renewing an Rx, (which I have since done) but I don't trust these kind of calls.

Automated call saying it was Wellcare (drug coverage) and tried real hard to get me to say "Yes".  When I wouldn't it asked me for my birth date.  At that point I hung up.

Received automated call from Wellcare at 3:11 p.m. on 07/01/2026.  Said there was an important message about one of my prescription medications.  I answered "yes" to a couple of questions, gave my birthdate, and gave my Wellcare membership number.  The message said it was reminding me to pick up one of my prescriptions which I previously picked up days before.  Asked me if I wanted them to call my pharmacy and get them to fill my medication.  I said "no."  Asked me again if I wanted them to call my pharmacy and I said "no."  If not a scam, this call was annoying.  My pharmacy calls me when my prescriptions are ready.  I don't need Wellcare to call me.  If this is a scam, then perhaps I shouldn't have given out any information.  I will contact Wellcare directly tomorrow.

Caller ID showed "WellCare" - saying they had an important message regarding a prescription and to call back at 877-558-7842. I accessed my account on line, and there was no message regarding a prescription, and none of these phone #'s were listed anywhere on the WellCare website.
