Treat others the way you would want to be treated
Different people may have different opinions about some topics. Do not turn a debate into a flame war or name calling. Argue facts, not personalities.
Do not bite newcomers
Newcomers may not know how to properly use the website or ask questions that seem obvious to those who have been on the site for a while. Point them to the right direction in a kind manner, and if necessary, report their message to the moderators (for example to lock a redundant forum topic). Treating newcomers kindly makes them more likely to turn into the valuable community members.
Stay on topic
Do not use website to promote your product, service or business
It is OK to post about your company's phone number and let people know why they are getting calls from you. Just make sure your posts do not look like SPAM and do not misrepresent yourself.
Do not feed trolls
Don't be a Grammar Nazi
Although it is a good idea to check your spelling and grammar before posting a message, do not be a Grammar Nazi. Not everyone has perfect English. The primary purpose of this website is discussing phone calls, not teaching proper English.
Use a meaningful title for your thread.
Do not double post (post the same message twice in one thread)
Search the other posts to see if your topic is already covered.
Notify moderator about TOS violations and nonsense posts
Do not post fake reviews
Do not post fake positive or negative reviews. They will be either deleted or marked as busted.
Post usefull information
Try to post only when you have something to contribute (especially in phone number topics). Do not post "empty" responses, such as just "lol" or "cool".
Post information you want to share with other users
Do not post any information that you want private. If you've mistakenly submitted some private information, use "!" button to ask moderator to edit your comment.
