I received several calls from an unknown source showing as "+NNN" on my phone. Today i decided to pick up that call and it was someone pretending to be from FPL (Florida Power & Light) on a recorded line. They knew my name and address and claimed that my electric service was going to be disconnected due to a red flag on my account. They went on about something that could happen only durint business hours but I was no longer paying attention. I just told them I was calling FPL right now and hung up. It is an obvious scam, and when I called the real FPL they said it had already been reported to the authorities.
    So now you know.

This is a scam that has been going on for decades. My late Mother was targeted by a bunch of scam artists in the late 80's who had been run out of Florida and into Georgia. One of them claimed to be a lineman for her local EMC, called and threatened to cut off her power at the pole if she didn't pay. She was NOBODY'S fool, and demanded to speak to his supervisor. He hung up.

That's what I meant. Dialing 3 digits gets you nowhere.

Why on Earth would you think I'm calling you? This is a phone number look-up site. No one here is calling you.
