Umm, not with a 20 year Federal Prison Sentence.  They will have to serve some of that time and then they will be deported.

A lot will depend on their status. They may very well pray for deportation. In the Federal prison sub-cultures there's support for Caucasian, Hispanic & Black Convicts. The gang affiliations are innumerable. Being accepted in to one is not an option, it's a matter of survival. I'm not aware of group that would protect a Convict who was known to prey on minorities, immigrants & the elderly. Not to mention the fact that the Convict would appear to most of his fellow Convicts as a "middle-eastern Terrorist".
Segregation is a given. It'd be nice to think that sit they'd sit there for years. It won't happen. In the next few years these lice will find themselves back in Ahmedabad. Along with their families. Now, don't be all upset. In India it's perfectly acceptable to be a foul Scammer. You're expected to be a fraud. You take bribes, you pay bribes. What you don't do is get CAUGHT! The worst thing you can do is make a public spectacle of yourself by being CAUGHT & being exposed as a CHEAT.
The Indian government has been forced to acknowledge this case. There are at least 8 Indians right now wondering how the end is going come in the most uncomfortable way.
       What comes around, goes around.
