This happened to me this morning. I'm so glad that I went online to check this out before I went too far. It was very convincing, but it seemed too good to be true. I did get excited at first if I'm being completely honest. It all fell apart for him when I questioned the need to buy the prepaid card and give him the numbers on it. He actually became hostile when I said I would not give him the numbers over the phone. I guess if they show up with an $8.7 million check and a new car, then I will feel stupid. But, at least, I didn't give them my $375.

Same thing happened with me! I said I was reluctant to convey the prepaid numbers over the phone--- but would do so in person. He became hostile and racist! Yeah I would feel stupid too if he really showed up with even a $87 check but rest assured that would NOT happen. You don't need a crystal ball to predict that :)~
I received a phone call, actually quite a few calls from the same number. It's a shame people pull these scams on honest hard working people, get a job losers.

Don't feel bad Idris, you live and learn. Google the story of "Sarah" who said on Dr Phil that she has sent 1.4 million dollars to "Chris Olsen" in Nigeria.....and still continuing with her online romance ( even though apparently his accent has changed) Be grateful you are not Sarah!

I have received 3 calls so far telling me I won 5.5 million dollars. It would be delivered today by Fedex along with police, IRS for tax purpose, and the commission. First I have to go buy a. H prepaid scratch card and call him back. After that my check would arrive and we all would go to the bank of my choice and cash my check. Boy he was good, telling me he was a man that believed in faith and God and this was my time. His last name was Benajamin, phone number 18765459518. So please be aware of this [***].

I love when they try that because that's the time I tell them that I'm an atheist.

I won 2.5 Million and a 2016 Mercedes...!!! David Rolber was calling from his car on his way to my house...!!! American Shoppers Network needed $250.00 from me before they could deliver my winnings...!!! Oh yeah, I was also winning a vacation to the Bahamas...!!! The line kept breaking up... he said because he was in the car... but I kept hearing the same birds in the background...!!! Rolber also had a thick accent...!!! So, I'm still waiting...NARF...!!!
My fiance received a call 10 min ago saying he had won 5 million and a BMW. They would be at our house between 2 and 5 today to deliver and follow us to the bank to deposit the check but we had to give them $999.00 for taxes. The supposed IRS agents name was Ronald Mcphee and the guy who called was David Paige. They called from an 876 number. I knew it was a hoax so we called the FBI. Its still scary when these people have your address and all that info on you. Hope they get caught soon.
These people are beyond evil. They claimed my daughter had won 7.5 million and a Mercedes. When I informed them that my daughter had died seven years ago, they insisted the prize was from a coupon she had filled out eleven years ago, but that I could receive the prize in her place.
That is really mean!! How low can they go??? Even lower for sure!! My sympathies, even at this late date, on your terrible loss!!! I lost my Dad and I know it never goes away but Im thinkin of ya!!!!

Of course we all know that any real lottery doesn't pay out if the prize isn't claimed after so long... like say about 3-6 months or so. How rotten of those scammers to try to use the memory of your daughter for deceit.
