    Tired of It All
These scammers have taken my mother-in-law for thousands of dollars.  So much last month that she couldn't pay all her bills.  They call her because she is lonely and they talk nice to her and ask her all about her relatives and when she will be home, etc...  She has literally given them enough information to have her social security check redirected to another bank account.  I discovered this and we went to the SS office and now she has to appear in person to get anything changed on her file including her address or phone number.  They promise her millions of dollars and new cars, but she is getting Alzheimers and doesn't remember one day to the next that they didn't show up the day before.  They tell her to send money to suffering kids and she does.  I truly believe it is a money laundering scheme because one old woman wrote her back after my mother-in-law sent her a check.  She said she cashed the check and then sent the money plus some to another address.  She has not won anything and was about to be kicked out of her apartment and wanted my mother-in-law to contact the people that told her to mail the check and see what they could do.  We have filed police reports and changed our home phone for the 3rd time and this time we changed the cell phone too.  We have filed complaints with the FTC and FCC and Attorney General's office. I guess no one is worried about these Jamaicans scamming all these innocent old people and I feel like it is a money laundering scheme or funding terrorists.  When I get on the phone and tell them to quit calling they cuss me like a dog, and threaten sexual and physical harm.  I told them come on up to Texas and my snake charmer and I will show them a real Texas welcome - NOT!

Just received a phone call from a rep of "american shopping award" stating i had won $800,000 and a new bmw.  All he asked for was my email address, entire name and correct age.  I told him i would give him my home address and he could mail any notifications to me.  He said i could only be notified by email and if i didn't give him my email address i would forfeit my winnings. I did fill out some prize entry in a walgreens store in shreveport, la which he described and told me the address of the particular store.  I didn't fall off the turnip truck last night so  i'm blocking the # which is 876-529-2421.
