Looks like these people are at it again. I received a call from the American Shoppers Network stating that I had won  $1 million and a brand-new Mercedes Benz.   Of course they want to me to pay $350 upfront so that they could deliver the vehicle and the cashiers check they wanted my bank info or a credit card when I told them that I would not do that they wanted to set up a time to meet with me so I set up a time for them to meet me at my bank   They said that would be fine and that they would call me back later to get more information from me and the exact time to meet.   I still have not heard back from them and if I do I will play along but I will also alert the authorities as to what is going on so that if somebody does show up they can go ahead and rest them the phone number was a Jamaican phone number and I did inquire about this because of all the scams that I've gone on and they gave me some BS line

Just got a call from 876-406-4119..a John Peterson informed me that I was one of several winners selected for the "Walmart appreciation day" award..he informed me that I had been chosen because I routinely make purchases exceeding $25.00 at Walmart. His accent was hard to understand at times..but it seemed like he was implying that I had been sent confirmation codes in the mail prior to his call..I said this was the first I was hearing about any award. He then asked me if I was home..this made me a bit uncomfortable..he said a package would be delivered to my housr today and that I needed to get a pen and paper to take down some information..he was impatient while waiting for me to find something to write with..he then tells me his name and that I've won $3.5 million..I asked him to repeat the amount because I was caught off guard by such an amount..he then proceeds to tell me off about how he doesn't like repeating himself and I need to listen up...I hung up on him while he was listing off some absurdly long confirmation number..he's called back once but I ain't picking up..

I've been receiving calls from 867-529-2421 from a woman claiming to be Christine Whyte. She says I won $500,000 and a 2017 Mercedes which the car will be delivered on a truck and she asked if I wanted to receive the money by check or cash, I said cash. She then gave me a code she said it was the code to the brief Cases that there would be two of them with $250,000 in each. Then she sent me an email with a copy of my check and a picture of her etc. the email seemed real. The lady is very nice. In the email it said I would have to pay $375 she asked me to go to Walmart and do a Walmart to Walmart transfer to a Neville brown then asked for $190 to be sent to Christna Warren in new port Jamaica and the one sent to Neville brown was sent to Missouri city, texas. She claims that as soon as I send the money that they will be at my home with my prize and with champagne etc. she said she drives a yellow hummer, sent me emails of other contestants but I found the same photos on the Publisher clearing house website which is where she claims to work and that I signed up in a mall or somewhere which I never do those things. She said that she is in Shreveport Louisiana at a compound that PCH has there and that she travels all over the United States delivering prizes. I have gotten over 100 calls from her in the past two days. She claims she is a Christian and a woman of god and that I can trust her. Has anyone else had her call them? I called the number on the PCH website and they said it was a scam and that a Christine Whyte doesn't work there and they have no offices based in Jamaica.

Why are you doing all of this?
Do you still believe you will get Mercedes and money?

By contacting PCH you have it from the horses mouth that this is a scam.  Hopefully you did not send them any money.  Now, just do not answer any further calls from them and have your email program mark their emails as spam.

Just got my call from a man named "Tony" and yes he had a Jamaican accent that he was trying to hide. He said I won $900 and a new Mercedes, only needed to pay for the processing and delivery fee, to have it dropped off today. He hung up when I asked some questions. I called him back and he hung up again after giving me the same lines.

You do realise you called Jamaica, right? If he hung up on you, why would you call him back?

    Some FYI:
The area code (876) is not a toll-free number and calls from any other area code are billed at international long distance rates.
