SAME exact call from 954-678-0081, was made to me on my cell phone this morning.  They had ALL of my information, including the bank I have my mortgage with.  SCARY stuff.  I will be reviewing my bank accounts and credit reports very carefully from now on.  I would not put it past them to have my SS number, as well!

I received the same exact call from a law firm in Florida that said I had to pay $638 in order to reprocess my winnings, I neglected to respond to weeks prior. The caller said she was an attorney (third party) not representing American Shopper's Network, and I won $175,000 check issued by The Bank of America in DC was waiting for me to claim. The 'so called' attorney had a slight accent and insisted I not share winning information with anyone...

The same thing just happened to me, some guy named Mike Adam was requesting 435.10 on a greendot; and that I won 185,000. If there were no further action the check would be canceled. He also sent me a certified mail in reference to this earnings. However, I did some research and realized it is all a scam and that all they are doing is stealing money from any individual.

I too received a call today from a Leroy Gonsalez with the American Home Shoppers Network. Leroy was very insistant that I remember his name and the details of the offer. Initially when he called he answered by addressing me as cousin and then my last name. I thought it was my little brother playing a joke so I hung up on him. Leroy called me right back.He said I won $2.5M and $30k cash from being a 3rd place winner (from payng my taxes for the last 5 years). He said that I must call John White with the claims and verification departiment @ 1-876-883-1934. I researched the prefix which is from Kingston Jamaica. I believe that this is a scam also.

Received a call today informing me of my $350,000 win!  From Price Waterhouse, no less!  Yay!  Oh, shoot, I need to be home to receive it, you say?  That makes perfect sense and, of course, I would love for you to come to my home and accompany me to the bank (of my choosing).  How thoughtful.  So sorry, but I was just going out the door to buy some...rat food.  Anyway, the person on the phone said his name was Frances Adrian (sp) and the number he gave me was 702-421-0431.  (Just leave the check on the porch, Adrian.  It will be perfectly safe and...I know where my bank is...;-).

These scammers are amazing.  When I received a call telling me that I had won 3.5 million and a c-class Mercedez Benz, I asked Peter Marshall (badge 707) how I was chosen as grand prize winner.  He claimed that it was a random pick from my grocery shopping.  I told him that I did not believe it could possibly be true, but, of course, he assured me it was positively true.  I asked many question so as to have enough information to report the call.  One request I had was for the address of the company; he gave me 23 Road, Chicago, CA.  I asked near what big city  in California Chicago was and he replied that it was near California.  I replied that California is a state not a city--I guess Jamiacan don't know this.  Anyway, I declined the prize and was told that I needed to sign some paper work so that the prize could be given to charity per the Justice Dept. and a lawyer would be bringing the paperwork to my house.  I then stated that my attorney would be present as well to advise me on the fine print.  Supposedly the attorney was going to call me, but so far I'm safe--no such call.  We all know such a call is not going to come.  By the way, this guy suggested that I check the internet;  maybe he had a conscience after all.  I was going to check anyway. Phone number was 876-455-7702.

My wife fell for the $300 package collection fee. She "won" the vacation. It was a collection of vouchers for resort hotel stays. We went to the Showboat hotel and casino in Las Vegas on our assigned weekend - when we realized we had been signed up for two days of hard sell Timeshare pitch. She bought the timeshare - the deed was one quarter of a square inch. Luckily Nevada Law has a three day "Buyers Remorse" clause I read buried deep in the contract. I drove her to the scam office and it took five hours of balking and refusal until I began to dial the Sheriff for enforcement, that they refunded the timeshare cancelation.

It's very likely these scammers have reported your $300 breach of contract cancelation fee to collections ...Scammers will sell your bunk debt, with your credit score info, to the 1st lowlife debt collector...This is what happended to me 3 years ago & daily  collection calls or e-mail spam.

Many clients of bill collectors happen to be outlaw telemarketers.

These scammers have found my grandma who is nearing 90 years old. She believed them and has sent at least 2,000. The family met with her for an intervention but she is so certain she won the lottery and they just need more money to process her winnings. When she told me she did it for me so she could pay for my house so I could quit work and stay home with my new baby it completely broke my heart. These people even gave her a secret password and had her repeat it when they called. This has been going on since December and still continues. We have taken over her bank account so she can't give them money but it's so sad. If anyone out there has the energy to investigate these people for the good of humanity - God bless you. I have faith that someone out there can help. I've reported this incident to the state Attorney General, the local News, and we're having my grandma file a police report. Here is the only info I have about these very sad thieves:
    866-97-5171 (Jack Williams)
    202-550-8126 (At Law Internal Affairs)
    202-470-3378 (Frank Kapra)
