Well, maybe that will cut out just a couple of the calls we get every single month.
I hope the AG prosecutes them to the fullest. She's no nonsense.

While I applaud any action against telemarketers proven to be in violation of the law, I can't help wondering what will stop the involved individuals from simply starting over with a new name in the future?

    Pretty much nothing at all.

You mean Pam Bondi?  The AG who delayed an execution so she could attend a fundraiser?

Would CCAI be related to the calls I've received showing CCI as the caller name? If so, these are the numbers from which they've called me: 586-482-8704 and 616-229-4713.

I don't think so.  Someone actually posted the name of that outfit, but I was on my phone when I saw it and lost the link.

PS, this is a thread to post numbers or links to them in.  We would like to keep this thread on topic.

Courtesy Call in Vegas, a/k/a CCI, is noted above as one of the call centers for the bogus charity bunch. Fraudulent "hero charities" are the only kind CCI works for, in my observation. They've been on a rampage since Autumn.

Thanks for that, I have been wanting to look them up for a while but CCI doesn't really get you anywhere.  I have located a lot of dirt on them already and it only took a few minutes.

I know I've dropped my own notes into some CCI threads since 2014, citing the opposite-of-courteous "prune-juiced hags" who refused to answer my questions or supply their mailing address.

Courtesy Call Inc  (Las Vegas) (aliases "The Fund Raising Center", "Office of Fund Raising", "OFC C Brown", "Donation Services")
    - Relies heavily on local number ruse in Caller ID, otherwise uses Vegas number.
    - Call abandonment high, even at times when live recipient makes audible response
    - What little funds remain after expenses reportedly are "donated" straight to Central and South America.

sound-alike charity names, likely sharing ownership:
    Breast Cancer Research Center
Breast Cancer Research & Support Fund
    Dogs For Law Enforcement
    National Police & Trooper Association
    Disabled Veterans Services
    Gulf War Veterans Coalition
    Veterans Emergency Blood Bank
Vets Fighting Breast Cancer  (Wow, two fake causes in one!)
    Children's Abuse & Trauma Foundation
Children's Cancer Research & Support Fund

I dug up a lot of information here:  https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-970-287-1108#p1308225602701416479

Seems they have left almost every state registration go.

Resident47: Thanks for your informative post(s) about CCI.

Now that I know CCI and CCAI are different entities, I'll go back to lurk mode on this thread.

What are the chances that a Richard Zeitlin listed under both (CCI) Courtesy Call Inc. and Donor Relations LLC are two different Richard's?
