I wish I knew where the hell they get your informationand friends information

I got a call from 704-522-4340. I didn't pick up because I did not recognize the number and I am in the 708 area code which is the Chicago South suburbs. Is this a number used by scammers?E7D9

I have three different Attoney that are trying to collect monies from me that a so called loan company game me money and they did not. the first number is 206 629-9398 with  x 356, the second is 619 500-2669 this one couldnt even give the date and the amount of what i owe and to whom.

Here's another number:  509-228-8918.

Had one yesturday from a number in New York and today I got one from a phone number in INDIA!!!  Freaking INDIA.... 750-002-8245....

Told him we where calling the FBI and we haven't heard back from him!

Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only one dealing with these fools. Is there anything I need to do to protect my account and identity from them?

Also got a call from this number again.  Stuart talked to my husband.  I called back and let him give me the entire story again about a payday loan I took out.  Thing is I didn't, it was deposited into my account with my auth.  anyway I have been trying since 9/20/11 (i think) to send this money back.  I was getting phone calls from another Law ffirm, telling me they were going to come and get me and arrest me, take me to court if I didn't pay a VERY LARGE sum of money.  SSM group said don't pay them it was a scam.  Funny, coming from them...lol  Anyway, today I told Stuart to stop calling me, that the FBI, FTC, IC3.gov were all involed, then a Mr. Kellogg came on and said what is the problem explained myself again and he asked to the FBI number.  I said I was driving in my car and in a couple of hours I would fax everything I have over to them.  I asked for a validation of debt and a signed contract that I requested this money.  They said it would be emailed to me.  I said ok, soon as I receive it, I would send everything I had to them.  We will see.

PS...My bank already sent the money back to them and my account is closed.....WTF?

Report everything to the FBI, FTC, IC3.gov and your Attry General Office...Also number that it all started from was 818-275-4519...look this one up and read all of our problems...I reply to everything as Please Be Careful!

I received a call from a blocked number from a lady yesterday that told me she was a "locater" and that I was being sued for check fraud and there was a court date set.  She told me to call 866-644-8050 to find  out the details.  I did call the number after I blocked my number.  A man told me I was going to jail he was going to ruin my life.  Don't give these people any information.  Be sure to file a complaint with the FTC online!

this people keep calling after i applied online for a payday loan but was not approved because i dont have a bank account only a prepaid debit card which i use as a bank because i do have arouting number and bank number that is different from the card i use. but i cannot use it to get a payday loan as it is an online bank is what i was told at the time. that was about probably a month ago and all of a sudden i started getting this calls from mike robinson or derek johnson or the latest ryan something cant remember his last name, but he got upset when i said really you have such a white name yet i cant understand what you are saying after that comment he got really upset!!! i then asked for proof of the loan or what ever he was going on about and he said i already sent you the information and i said i havent recieved anything . i then stated to him my brother works for the FBI and after my brother would check them out if he gave me his information which is some law office but i couldnt understand what he was saying because of his heavy accent he got really upset and started yelling. i then said i was not going to pay anything until he provided me with proof and i hung up. he then called right back to my work 3 times and was asking for my supervisors name and for me but i told him she is not in and my supervisor was not in iether but i would be more than happy to take a message down for him. then he gave me a number which is 214-785-4440 which is out of florida or a florida law firm and he is an officer. after that i recieved onother phone message from same guy but with a different phone number which is 786-401-9900.  i had some other numbers but  i accidently earased them but his name was like i said was derek johnson and mike robinson but that number was a 512 area code from austin texas and he was claiming to be a federal agent from federal investigations  department and some law firm but he would not give me the name of the law firm or the name from where i supposedly got the loan from and said once i paid it they would send me a notification of payment paid in full but they are crazy i am not paying anything because i think i was scammed about a year ago or so i just freaked out and paid them but it was to some law firm by the name Kraytos King & Associates out of jacksonville Florida and the contant person was shelby preston from the state attorney office new york but they might of been okay since they did give the information i requested dont know!!! anyway hope these numbers and names help someone else.

I received a call also saying i defaulted on a payday loan and that my social security number is being
investigated. I never received any money and I told them to call my bank and he wouldn't listen.
Middle eastern accent too. their phone numbers 512-646-2002 and 951-489-0239 and 714-485-9593

I did receive something via email as a validation of debt...NOT...email them back and said to send it via USPS and the contract that they keep telling me I signed.  I gave them two weeks to get this information to me so we coild settle this issue once and for all!!!

Does any one get calls from continental legal support? They said I could go to jail threating legal action only want payments via pre paid card I'm broke lost every thing are these people for real.

I, too, have been a potential victim of the payloan collection scams; and as most of you I am SICK and tired of getting these phone calls.  Why should I have to change my phone number to get them to stop?  But will it ever stop?

My story is way too long to type, but I have filed complaints with the Federal Trade Commission as well as filing a police report, contacing the DA's offices in my current city as well as the cities of the respective area codes from which they are calling from. I have had to take off from my job to try to make this crap stop!  When I eventually stop answering calls and/or returning voicemail messages, they begin calling from another phone number!  Just like every other person on these posts, those who are calling had middle eastern accents but used very, very common English names (Mike Smith, Jacob Brown, Chris Brown, etc)  They refuse to take the hint:  STOP CALLING if you don't want to send me written verification of the 'alleged' debt!!!  I even went as far as asking for the Bar Association number I was given of a man acting as an attorney...but he gave me letters and digits in the number (Bar Assoc. #'s dont' have letters in them, plus the last 4 digits in the alleged number were the last 4 digits of the telephone number from which he was calling!


I was also told by a DA's office that I was the 40th person that called in reference to this happening, but the sad thing is..these people are using legitimate attorney's names they claim to be representing.  That is why I called this particular DA's office,,,,,when is enough enough?

I would be happy to be a part of any suit, program, etc. to bring these people down!  They are messing with the wrong frustrated woman!!!
