Has anyone sued a telemarketer and won?

I am interested in your stories. What happened? How long it took? How time consuming is this process? What was the judgment amount?

Well, honestly I don't think any people included me to take time to sue a telemarketer because you may not always win, they maybe have special tricks to avoid from it, and one thing is, you don't even know who is behind the call, even you have the number doesn't mean you can get the people who is the telemarketer who call you, I think most people will just ignore it instead to sue someone, but still better way to file a complain to FTC or BBB if you really have to do something with this, I think.

Yes.  The State of Missouri took a video taped affidavit of me and my complaint against a "Policeman's Benevolent Society" out of Florida.  It took about a year, but they took them to court and won a $250,000.00 judgement against them.  Apparently, I was one of several who had lodged a formal complaint against the repeated phone calls from this outfit soliciting donations.  Needless to say, they have not called me back since.  That was about 7 or 8 years ago.  I am on the state and national "Do Not Call" lists.

Dear Lee: was the telefundraising company that you are referring to in the Missouri cased  named Xentel, Inc.?  I read about this group on mydonornation.org

I am starting the process now and will let you know how it goes or maybe start a new thread just for this case. All the help i can get would be appreciated and i will share all information to help everyone.
