1-888-496-8677 Scam

My Father received a call from 1-888-496-8677. He is 85. The lady claimed her name was Lisa Baker and that she was calling from Bank Of America. She asked for personal info like full name and wanted to know how much money he had in his checking account. (All Red Flags) She then claimed she needed his checking account number so that she could take out the $200. for the "insurance". Banks do not call and ask for info like this which they already should have on file. I Googled the above number and apparently they prey on the elderly.
Anytime you have won something and they want money in advance or they want you to send money after your have won to cover some charge, you can be pretty sure it is a scam. Don't give out your personal information over the phone. Just hang up. If your reading this I hope they didn't cheat you.
