Apparently you "cannot understand" a date, either. The post you replied to is several years old.

Got a call from 480-213-789 left half of a message about filling out forms right now. blocked the number and sent a message to stop calling and reported  to fcc. Can't trace .

If it's an incomplete phone number, how were you able to send a message to it?

Thats old news and there are several Forum threads about the "Neighbor Spoofing" scam calls available, just use the search bar over on the right side and type in those words.

just  got 2 missed calls from 9 digit number. 727389804 and 727382868. Did internet search and both numbers are from Poland.

Some people have to answer all calls, no matter if the phone number looks funny or not. You know, for THEIR JOB.
As for your number being sold, why would scammers pay for a list of phone numbers when they can simply program a robo-dialler to call all numbers for free?

Not sure what kind of internet search you did but when I Googled those numbers, there was no mention of Poland in the results.

I had a 336-496-016 number to call my cell. I did not answer it. I have answered incomplete numbers before, only to have the silence and "goodbye" . I will happily block any numbers that are incomplete and not answer. So, I won't be bothered by this stupid nonsense.

This  same thing has started to happen to me. Is there anyway to stop it??

Instead of replying to a post from several years ago, try reading past the first few posts.

I've gotten calls on my cellphone from three different 9 digit numbers in 2 days...all beginning with '207' (my area code in Maine). I've blocked each one, for what it's worth....

I've received quite a few of these calls for Gov Grants.
