Please use this website properly by posting your experience in the thread for the number that called you. More people will benefit if you do so than just from your post in this random thread which will soon disappear off the home page.

Agreed.  I kept getting letters and calls from a company wanting to help me get my unclaimed funds back from a former employer. I called the employer, and they knew nothing about it.  I checked my state's website for unclaimed funds, and lo and behold, there were two entries for funds from my former company, plus a couple of others I didn't know about!  I used the state's process to get the money back.  Appears the company contacting me would have charged me a percentage of the money if I had used their services, although doing in online my self was free!  I've spread the word and checked it out for family members as well.

How did they get your account number to pull the funds? Oh, you GAVE it to them? 🙄🙄🙄 Hope you learned to never answer a call if you don't know who's on the other end.
