Target Contest Winner Scam

I also did not enter a contest BUT could use a gift card.

Common sense: if you did mot sign up for a gift card or enter any contest you didn't ans won't win anything!

If you could use a gift card, it's simple really, the only way you can actually get one is to drive to your nearest Target Store and purchase one!

There is no such offer for any gift card via text messaging. Target does not do things that way.
The ones whi sent that text are scammers seeking to scam you and through them you will actually never see any gift card!!!

As to the text you hot, forward it to your cell phone provider at 7726, then delete it!!!

I just got the same target scam it said enter your winning code and you win 1.000.00 target gift card.

Received two target contest texts in the span of an hour. These pricks are really starting to annoy me. I'm going to have to go ahead and suggest merciless extermination. That is, if anyone can pinpoint a location.

be aware of this number 323-333-6043 left me the same massage today. advising me that i had 24hrs. to claim my free $1000 target gift card.

I got a text from 951-992-9187 your entry last mth won and you are getting a $1000 gift card......Really dont remember going to Target last mth or putting in an entry.   Scam artist get a life.

I just received a text from target.contest.net. I have tried to win Christmas Money, but these scams keep coming up that ate a big let down to an old man trying to make christmas for my grandchildren and this is all I get. Come On Man

Just got one from TargetContest the ph# is 951 903-9443, this is crazy

Got a text message at 6 a.m.  Woke me up. It was from 909-764-7694, saying I won $1000. TargetContests.net.

I received one also but the no. was 951 902 5968. these people are truely horrible.

i got one for best buy and target.  on the target on it says go to target contest.net then enter a code. and bestbuybfpromo.com and enter a code. so, i guess these are scams.too.

mine came from 909-764-7726.  Thanks for posting this stuff, guys!!  Saves us all a lot of trouble!!!
