I hired and fired Brand Rep. This is how they work. They build a shadow site and they hook it to your actual website. Then they put a small amount t of effort into getting your site onto the first page of Google. In my case, they did nothing unless I harassed them. In the meantime your website is being optimized, to a small extent , for your area. When you fire them, you lose all the optimization you had gained before them and during the time you had them. Therefore, firing them puts your optimization at a lower level than before you hired them. Very Bad Company!

Thank you Alex, wish I would have read this 2 months ago. I say no to 100s of sales reps. not sure why I went with Brand Rep. what a mistake. Their sales rep Ari promises a laundry list of services, once you sign up none of them happen. I'm mad at myself for ever saying yes, now I have to see if I can get get any money back or if I have to take legal action. It was onl;y a three month contract but just on principal I want to thash them.

What a load of [***], you obviously are some clown that is associated with them.  If it is that great, maybe you can tell me why I need to receive 10-15 robo calls a week.

I've never gotten Brand Rep, but I've gotten several calls from eGumball.  Same song, different name.  They've also called themselves "Map Support" shortly after Google sued Local LIghthouse for use of the their trademark, but the last several I've received they were back to introducing themselves as "Google Plus Support".

They have been publishing that info for years, every state does to some extent.  Delaware publishes very little, and Texas wants money to access it.

The "SI" or Statement of Information only began appearing on the CA SOS website when the old "Business Portal" was revamped last year. Before that, one needed to hire a runner, often from an attorney service, to get the docs from the SOS office in Sacramento.

We fell for their big come on...and paid big for no return...Truth be known is that I setup my website with a few tricks and our records show that we get more business from referrals and my website.

I have a vague memory of Delaware charging for information, but it appears now they don't charge.

    Delaware Business Search
Business license data is now available on the Delaware Open Data Portal.

    This is interesting.

"Any seller or seller's representative who solicits a door-to-door sale at a home shall prominently display a door-to-door salesperson identification card obtained from the Department of Finance while soliciting a door-to-door sale."

I wonder if the state requires debt collectors to display an identification card if they collect debts by going to a person's residence - for example, a "furniture rental" company would want to retrieve their "furniture" if the renter had not made payments.

In 2017, the office has received many Google robocalls. When I have time, I do what Tormenting Telemarketers does and try to find out what companies are calling and ask the live operator to stop calling. Here are the companies (as given by the operators) that I've been able to identify behind some of these calls.
    • Instant Media. Number used: 469-421-2159.
    • Point Break Media. Number used: 208-803-0217.
    • PR Updates and Public Reputation. I list these together because robocalls from each direct users to the same web site. Numbers used: 248-206-0204 and 231-222-5787 respectively.
