Seeing as this is a *number lookup site*, why don't you post your info under those numbers?

Call from number local to my service area: "Good afternoon from Map Support for Google" .. "I'm (name), your Mapping Specialist" - Yes, another call from our "friends" at EGumball which they do not come right out and tell you who they are (or at least didn't tell me and it was over 2 minutes into the call, and I had to ask). They really, really push a hard-sell if you decline their services.

The guy also made the claim that just because you google "google recommends egumball" or something and they show up in the search results, that they want  you to believe this is an explicit endorsement by Google. No, that's because you backlinked that to your company as a search-engine trick.  It's recorded, so I wonder if Google would like to have a listen to them? Glad I'm in a 1 party state.

Today, the office received a call from 561-437-1348. Operator Jacob identified his company as "SBS" (Small Business Services, perhaps?) and hung up upon being asked to stop calling. I'll be uploading the call's audio file and reporting it to Google later.

Today, the office received a call from 248-251-0899. Operator John claimed he was calling from "My Google Listing" and hung up when told we weren't interested and to stop calling.

Two recent calls to the office about our Google Business Listings:
    • 248-213-9386 yesterday from "OM Communications", and
    • 248-256-5322 today from an unknown company. The operator said, "Umm" and hung up when asked what company he was calling from.

Received call 410 384 4312 ID as VACANT BALTIMORE. Hmm? Interesting. Let's see. "Hello. Do not hang up.We have tried several times..." Oh, Google Business Listing. When a representative answered, "Hello. I'll be assisting you with your business listing. Am I speaking to the business owner?"
I said, "No, but" He disconnected. I was going to say I could connect him to his voicemail. I called the number and "The number you have dialed is not in service. Goodbye."

Post should go here where someone looking up numbers can find it.  You can be first, and maybe the only since the number is probably spoofed.

Thanks for reminding me to post the individual phone numbers. For example I've been getting a lot of calls from MT PLEASANT TX where the last 4 digits of the number varies. After 8 calls in the past couple weeks from the same @#$% caller I reported it here with the latest phone number and I listed the other numbers in the body of the post.

Maybe it would be a useful feature to add to 800notes.com where we could report a block of numbers where the notes, caller and call type were all the same.

That is called "neighbor spoofing" and the numbers could be inactive or belong to a local business/resident.

While that sounds like a good idea, it is more like a double edged sword. The majority of people won't get the same "series" of neighbor spoofed calls and of the small percentage that would, it is very unlikely many of those would come here to find such a list useful.
Sure for a handful of people it might be useful towards documenting a specific company, if they are able to identify the callers as the same person/people spoofing those numbers.

On the other hand, there are a number of 'vigilante' people who scrape websites such as this to collect those lists and call the numbers to give the recipients a hard time, believing they are the callers.  For the victim who's number was spoofed by the scammer/telemarketer, they only become a victim of harassment of those vigilantes.

For the most part, that would seem to be the best of both worlds, as anyone who got a call from any of those spoofed numbers would be able to find out about the others numbers much easier and see what others have posted about their caller..

BLS Media seems to be the company behind the latest calls to the office. They've used 206-855-5746, 248-436-6275, and 248-621-9673 as numbers for the initial robocall.

There's also been a call from the "B. Contact Center" using 206-866-0787 along with a few calls where the operator immediately hangs up when asked what company they're from.

A few people have reported Google Business Listing calls that are placed using various numbers and leaving a callback number of 866-443-8007. One poster claims the entity in question is Web Listing Pros.
