National FaceBook lottery - another scam

    Just got an email from someone claiming to be from FaceBook.  Just reading the letter tells me that something is fishy just by the wording of it. Never give your personal information to someone you are not sure of as they are phishing for ways to use your personal information for their own gains.  That is one sure fire way to know if something is legit or not - Sounded foreign to me so below is how the email reads:

    FROM: THE DESK OF THE PRESIDENT.
    INTERNATIONAL PROMOTIONS/PRIZE AWARD.
    BATCH NUMBER: FB-0281/544
    SERIAL NUMBER: 99352748-2013
    TICKET NUMBER: FB-172-60
    CATEGORY: 2ND

    The Entire Facebook team are very happy to inform you that your name appear on the FACEBOOK ONLINE INTERNATIONAL LOTTERY and we are giving out the total sum of US$950,000.00 (Nine HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND UNITED STATE DOLLARS) which is what you have just won.

    Your name was selected in a raffle that was made for the FACEBOOK ONLINE INTERNATIONAL LOTTERY for the year 2013 with the lucky number (FB-225-7736) so we need your fast response so that we can proceed with the claim process of your winnings.
