Although I need to confess I wasn't following the thread, "world strides" is the name of the company many schools use for educational trips (e.g., week long trip to Washington D.C.).  I've dealt with them before with my kids and no trouble per say.  No parents I know in my local school district have had problems either.

OTOH, I have had a ton of trouble with the nitwit explanations I've gotten from the teachers regarding the World Strides trips (e.g., letters sent home from the school that directly contradict listed policies on World Strides web site).  In fact, I just wasted two hours of my life clearing one of those things up.

Whatever the case is,  I do not believe this alleged teacher.

i did some of those, he was posting all over the place and I didn't want to encourage him.  The fact that all his posts went bye bye and he still kept coming back tells me everything I need to know about him.

Thwre was a comment on the last page that claimed Slim worked for the scam. It almost gave me the impression that it was talking about 800notes.
