Yesterday, our hosting provider forwarded us a DMCA report related to the 877-214-0770 thread.

More details can be found here:
    https://800notes.com/news/mkXd3xoXTQs/dmca-abuse-george-caceres-web-sheriff-john-e-henehan

I am posting it to the Wall of Shame forum because there was an attempt to post several fake comments in that thread and now they sent a bogus DMCA complaint.

I'm just totally ignorant on this.  So the copyright infringement is the shills posting that this is a "real" deal?
Oh...wait...I see...just ignore me.. I should have read through the entire report first.  I think I get it now.

I found this little blurb on how to spot an "audition" scam.  Thought you might find it interesting.

Great article. For regular readers on 800 notes I found it a 'Red Flag laugh along'. From the use of Western Union to advance fee's - we've seen it. Always great to see how the crooks put a modern spin on old scams.

Apparently these jerks are KNOWN for pulling this kind of thing: http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Web-Sheriff-John-Giacobbi/internet/Web-Sheriff-John-Giacobbi-Web-Sheriff-is-an-elite-rip-off-company-that-spams-content-own-523852 (looks like you'll have to copy and paste)

The only possible infringement I saw was plagiarism of other ignorant and haughty shills.
