I got a call from them and I've received similar calls in the past but this time they called my work! I'm so sick of these people calling me and scaring me. I've paid my student loans...she said it was a different student loan blah blah blah trying to use big terms..she said I I'll be served and she said they mailed me a letter (which I never got) she ended up saying "sorry we couldn't resolve this see you in court) how can I make them stop harassing me?

The caller was so rude claiming I'd be taken to court for $20k if i didn't settle for $1k for a student loan. I will be checking with BBB because it all smells of fraud to me. Since i am disabled, she would not accept a payment plan and yelled at me. I told her I had my credit history on hand. She refused to email me her complaint/ supporting information.

I also received a call from Trover Consulting Firm today, but on the caller ID their number shown as unknown. Therefore, the call was automatically blocked due to me having call block numbers that don't display their phone number. Anyway, a voice message was left by a lady name Lisa Johnson telling me, " I have a complaint against me." She never said who the complaint came from, but she left a case number and a phone number to return a call to 1-877-737-9522. I returned a call, but the after hours answering service took my message to have someone return my call tomorrow.

Have any of you recently purchased over the counter Medication from Wal-Mart. The kind you have to give them your ID .ie. Cold Medicine? Just wondering, because after yesterday I begin getting the same calls.

They called me yesterday about an 8 years old credit card debt and said they will sue me for total amount but if I made asrangement to pay 10 percent of it they would not sue. And they emailed me docs to esign but I'm not convinced. Anybody has updates concerning this las firm?
I just got a call from the same company tonight and they called my mom and sister, who live in other states. They say I owe a large amount on a credit card through HSBC MasterCard opened on New Years Eve in 2007 and paid on until 2012. I flat told the guy I talked to that it is NOT mine, I don't use credit cards at all, even store cards! He is supposed to call me back Monday evening with more information. Oh and I work for my county court, so I actually would know if and when they file a suit against me, which they have not. I will try to update on Monday if they call me back!
I did talk to someone named Chris who said he worked for the legal department. They had my birthdate and social security number and former names and addresses. I am waiting to speak to him again on Monday evening. I will be pulling my credit reports this weekend and checking for ID theft!

They sent my work a fax asking for my date of birth start date of employment etc wanting to verify my employment. They have called but I have not returned calls. Who are they supposedly collecting for?

All of these complaints are the same thing I have been experiencing from this Company. Today my work received a fax wanting information such as my date of birth, how much I make, when I was hired, and my position. I pay my bills on time and do NOT owe any money on loans so this company is barking up the wrong tree. They are rude and the harassment is out of control. I have turned them into the Ohio Attorney General and even filed a police report which stopped them from contacting me for a few months but they have begun again. They have contacted family members as well. I want to know how to stop this harassment. The name given to me from the phone call is Bobby Knight. The name on my fax is Chris Baylor. Why can't someone shut this phony operation down?

Rec'd a fax and call at my job stating that there is a complaint being filed against me in the county courts. When I called back the person has the wrong SSN just the correct date of birth and name. Asked if I've ever rec'd any mail in reference to this matter before and I advised them that I've never heard of them. Whereas, if they have a address for me to send the information and I would gladly response accordingly. I will not be completing any forms for anyone.
