A Telemarketer Gets Rickroll'd

- Sammy's bashfulFunny!!!! :) :) :). Love it!!!! Wish we could do it to all telemarketers, but then they might quit phoning.
- EvieI also downloaded a bunch of awful screams and farts and that's what the next pest who calls me is going to get!
- Card Member Scamices replies to KuroiShiThe call is from Card Member Services. It is an illegal Robocall he is responding to KuroiShi. Do some research you Moron!
- j replies to Michele| 1 replyair horns are nice and make the point, but it'll get you charged if the telemarketer wants to push a legal charge for assaulting them and damaging their hearing. just an FYI. I understand the thought though.
- jack burton replies to jAnd no your So wrong on that note.. if ANYONE calls you IE an incoming caller has no rights under the fcc if anyone were to call you. you could thresten them or anything you wnated you could ask them for phone sex or anything not a legal thing they cna do about it... but IF you call them and use a bull horn then your in trouble.. thats why I use a bull horn on all of my telemarketeers they cant do anything about it. sux to be them. and if you dont believe me you have the internet look it up at www.Fcc.com
- Lieutenant SarcastroMan if you think thats bad you should hear mine. I get downright mean. I love asking the woman how big she is and if she has huge sausage tatas etc and some of the racist stuff I say is just horrible. But hey, you wanna make an egg ya gotta break an omelette.
My job allows me to enjoy these small moments in life, I either get rude (when I'm pressed for time) or I play telemarketer rodeo, which is to keep them on the line as long as possible (more time with me less time harrassing the less capable elderly) and man it makes me smile. - DazedAndAmazed replies to whoknowsWTF? That's called Overdraft Protection! It's not designed to be a loan! It's just to keep checks from bouncing and problems with your other accounts.
- HeyNow| 1 replyI understand that these telemarketers are doing a kind of job, but they seem to be getting their prospects from the Do Not Call list (which I'm on). They are doing something illegal so they deserve whatever they get when they call people. I really wish the FTC would do something about these scammers.
- RedwoodLove it! You're adorable and that cracked me up. When I'm bored, I play along with them to waste their time, then at the end say I don't have any credit cards, house, whatever and then ask them for a handout.
- Freestyle29482The best way to troll someone ever
- Just A Guy replies to benseattleSeriously? It's not hard to get credit cards. Some of the biggest D-Bags and Tools I've ever known had credit cards.
- EddieL| 1 replyI am sure we all can appreciate how inconvenient/annoying telemarketing calls can be especially when you never asked for anyone to call you in the first place. I've had my share trust me folks. However having worked at a call center myself with life/health insurance companies such as METLIFE/HUMANA I feel a little more sympathetic for these folks now. They are under pressure by their supervisors to perform/meet quotas and are just trying to do their jobs and put food on their tables, feed their families/pay the bills like we all are....right? I'm sure these people would rather be doing another job and not having to deal with rude/grouchy people but such is life. That said, in this scenario had I been the call center rep I may have been tempted to go with it and sing along. I'd just replace the lyrics with.." Never going to stop... never going to stop... calling you...chorus: Untillllll...you say yes!" lol!! :) I may have been fired afterwards but hey life is short. Life gives you lemons...make lemon aid..RIGHT! :)
- EddieL replies to HeyNowHeyNow, I sincerely feel your pain. However, did you know that even if you place your name on a do not call list you can still be called? This happens because at some point you or someone else in your household/family member requested information online and inadvertently agreed it would be ok for these people to call you back/follow up with you. It's in the fine print so you may not notice that statement but it is in there. Trust me I've made that mistake myself. That is one loop whole marketing has used to get around the do not call list. If you call and complain they may say, "Ma'am/sir, you agreed to us calling you on this date when you checked off the box on our website." Happens all the time when people are shopping around for cars, insurance or other products and blindly go through the information request forms and check stuff off before reading it thoroughly. So, if you really do not want any telemarketing people bothering you at home either visit a local vendor/store for what you are looking for, call the 1800 number on the site or read any online information request forms thoroughly before checking anything off. Oh..if you do call, ensure you make it clear to them after you're done that your number is on the "Do Not Call List" and you do not want any call backs from anyone unless you verbally requested/agreed to it first via phone call. I normally give them a really old mobile number. It may reach someone else but it will not be you. lol! :) If you own this number.8135620657..please let me know so I can stop giving that number out and please accept my sincere apologies... :) lol!
- EddieL replies to EddieLForgot to provide you with do not call list government website. You may already have it considering you placed yourself on the list but just in case i will post it below.
