If I had the time, I'd love to waste their time like they do ours! BUT, this gives me an idea of recording a message on a tape recorder, putting them on hold and picking the phone up again and let it play! Hmmmm, besides the Rick Astley song what could I play for them....so they get the point!!!? I will have to do some checking! Thanks for the idea! They get annoying so it would be nice to actually have some fun!

When I get a live telemarketer on the phone,I remember my friend who could not get any other job than that of a telemarketer. She said her boss was constantly pushing her to make more calls and was critical of her all of the time.  She hated the job, but had to earn a living.  I felt sorry for her.  I just politely make an excuse to hang up.  They are just doing their job, even if it is annoying.

There are ALWAYS other jobs with lowers standards than telemarketing. If you can convince yourself that being a telemarketer is better than working at McDonalds or being a janitor, you deserve the consequences and figurative "crap" that goes with it.

The calls are not just annoying, it's sometimes a scam company they are working for and the scam is often fraud, only sadly, the telemarketing agent usually has no idea they are working for an illegal company.

These people are just stupid. Im at work I get a call from 508 area code miss the call 10 minutes later I call the # back... Its out of service... so I check my VM and I hear a a back ground like if its a tele service. Who do I report them to? What if they have my name and address... Where would they get my info from? Is this message to a scammer/ I really hope those stupid low lifes get cought.
