I too just canceled  with RealtyTrac and have been getting phone call from this number. I don't answer

I cancelled my 7-day free trial with Realty Trac yesterday morning and received a call this morning from this #.  No Message was left, just on the caller id...Weird.

yeah i got the same thing what [***] this company is. Any company that pulls this kinda crap should be publicly scrutinized so everyone else knows about their canny tactics. The [***] hanged up the phone on me so I went to their website using a fake email and spammed them right back!

949-502-7787 is from Realty Trac.  I had a membership and cancelled and kept getting calls.  I finally called them back and told them I kept getting calls and I asked the gentleman how I could get that taken care of.  He kindly said he would remove my number and apologized.

Wish I'd known this before I did their free trial.  Guess they're even shadier than I expected.  Hope they don't charge me.

I never signed us for anything.  These calls just started coming in.

I get phone calls from them eversince my husband submitted a form on RealtyTrac's site. I get calls 2-3 times a day. They don't introduce themselves and they hang up before I can even ask who is calling or if they would like to leave a message. At times they don't say nothing and hang up after I pick up the phone.

Same story here as most of the other posts. Signed up for the free 7 day trial on www.RealtyTrac.com a few days ago. Was only interested in one item and immediately cancelled the free trial about 10 minutes later. The phone calls started the next day, caller ID shows "Irvine, CA (949) 502-7787." When I answer, no one says anything so I just hang up. Today is 2/8/08 and the third day the calls have come in---which prompted to search the web to see where they're coming from. What can we do to stop this?

ive been wandering who has been calling me from a 949 area code, and i get the same thing, they leave no messages and dont talk on the phone.. hopefully i dont get billed again

i tried the one-week realty trac free trial membership, then canceled ON-LINE after 2-3 days. i have the on-line cancelation acknowledgement, but i did get a call today from that number, 949 502 7787.  it will be interesting as well as annoying to see if the calls continue, although i won't know what to do about it if they continue.

I keep getting annoying phone calls from 949-502-7787 after signing up for a free trial on internet.  Cancelled subscription.

When getting unwanted marketing calls~ first register at Donotcall.gov
If these people still call. Go to Donotcall.gov and register a complaint.

Cancelled Realty Trac and less than 24 hours later the calls have started.  Will be looking at my next Visa bill to see if the confirmed cancellation works.

Yepp. Just received my first phone call. I signed up for the trial, then canceled it online. Awesome. These seriously better not continue.

I just received a call, but when I answered The line hung-up, was I expected to call back?... I am a realtor, but I don't think I made a membership purchase to Realty Track Professionals. Can't they get into trouble for calling a "NO CALL LIST" #...  i am sure they could.

I was going through and came to a page where it stated I needed to sign up. when it came to cc info, i exited out. (this was last night).
Today I get a call however no one there!
