I keep getting calls from 0000000000 and every time I answer they just hang up. It's really irritating. Someone started to talk once but I lost service as soon as they were about to talk.

Have caller ID and call block. This was one of several calls we've had since 7am this morning. We don't answer and they leave no voice message. This number is a 'spoof' number and calls can be generated by a computer. They call Numbers sequentially until some one answers. Protect yourself by getting caller ID and don't answer any number that you don't recognize. We have voice mail and check messages. Most of the spoof calls never leave a message.

I received two calls from this number today.  There is no name in the caller ID. Both calls were transferred to my answering machine; no messages left.  This call could have been made through Skype or any other VOIP service.

The number is obviously spoofed; I live in the GTA; we are still being targeted by "Air Duct Cleaning Services"; I suspect it is them or tech support scammers.  I will leave this number blocked.  If it was someone I knew, they would have left a message.

If you don't answer, they'll stop.
    If it's important, they'll leave a message.
If you are getting the call on your cell phone, block the number.
    It's that simple!

Probably a robo dialer that hadn't been programmed yet.  Name on caller ID was "Not Available".  I picked up to give them some advice and there was a connection but no voice.  After about 20 seconds a synthetic voice said "goodbye" and it hung up.  Losers.

A guy who never picks up
Just don't pick up the phone. Nothing complicated with that. They'll eventually stop calling and answering it will only make them call more under different aliases and numbers because you're a real person. They're phishing, you cannot reason with them or tell them off. Unless you have any programs or devices that can actually track the caller's location to expose them, don't even bother picking up because any number you get from them is likely a re-routing spoof number like the one they're calling you with. Just don't give an inch.

I just got a call with a message saying my master card had been lock and to press 1 to talk to have it unlocked. I don't have a master card so I hung up! I've never had this before but I just did something online where my number was required. Have your systems cleaned and virus removed.

Exactly, if I don’t recognize the number I don’t answer either; doing so only establishes the number as being active.  Calls like this all day long are a nuisance.

I had that number come up on my phone. I want to know who was the one calling me. Not to many people have my number. I'm a very private person, so if you could find the person who called I would appreciate it.
