Some scammer with an Indian accent by the name of "Max".  Yeah, Max, right.  He said he was calling about a problem with my computer.   I promptly blasted his eardrums with a deafening whistle.   LOL

I never answer if I don't know number, caller I.D was a good investment for me. Love it when you can look number up on here and most of time know where they come from.

This number called four times. I never answered. When I checked my voicemail a few hours later there was a brief inaudible message. I have now blocked it.

You guys need a call blocker.  It prevents repeat calls.  The spammers are constantly spoofing new numbers but you can stop all the  ones like this, the area codes that don't exist and area codes where you don't know anyone.

A young man called this morning & said "Hi, Grandma Elaine.  How's Grandpa Tom?"  I asked who was calling & he said "Your grandson Michael!"  When I said oh, yeah? whose kid are you?  he hung up.  We don't have a grandson named Michael nor one that old.  I couldn't figure out what that scam could have been about, but Tom said they would next say they were in jail & need me to wire money.  Yet another crappy way to take advantage of seniors.  Disgusting.

This number called my office today (ironically right after my coworker and I had a conversation about spam calls). I could barely understand his thick accent, but he claimed that the phone company we use (did not state the company's name) said we had been receiving an overwhelming amount of telemarketing calls recently and claimed he was with the "Do Not Call Registry". Before I finally hung up because he would not let me speak/kept interrupting me, he said his name was Derek, he was a supervisor and his phone number is 1-800-240-5042. I hung up in the middle of him calling out some kind of ID number. The number called again and my coworker answered. Of course he went through the same spill again and did not allow my coworker to speak. On the third time the number called, my coworker requested that this number be removed the list that he got this number from. Coworker then told him how rude he was for interrupting while he was speaking before hanging up. Thankfully this idiot has not called back....yet.

Yes this is correct. I can understand this despite the English, message is a good help. It's my experience aswell with these callers. They try your home number ... then your mobile. They are trying to access your computer.
