Sounds strange, but had 2 calls from 000-000-0000.  I answerd the 1st. It sounded like a old type writer. Saved both of the calls.

Whatever anyone does, do not answer this. It will, strip you of your internet and identity. This clearly, has been going on awhile, seeing as, these comments go back from 2008(?) Seriously!? Who HERE, isn't, doing their job!?

So It seems that the Amazon purchase scammers are trying something new with their Robo caller. Apparently the computer systems are now able to mask the phone numbers that the scammers are using from being identified by a CID. for example unknown number will display on CID but no phone number displays so you don’t really know who it is that’s calling you until you pick up the phone. Scammers tried to get you to think that you have a purchase of over $1000 on a nonexistent Amazon account. This is a phishing scam. Do not give the scammers any personal information.

I get calls from 000-000-0000, and it's always just one ring and they hang up. No message, no chance to answer. I'm kind of concerned that there may be some new scam out there where they can connect to your account with one ring or something. Does anyone have any information on the possibility?

just got a call from this 000-000-0000. didn't answer. the voicemail it left said "this is Hannah from national credit assist. i'm calling about the help you requested [i didn't request any help], and it looks like i can help. please give us a call back at 888-484-0525. thank you"
now, i have a call blocker so, it just made my phone bleep but never showed anything. i went to my blocker app and saw the number as +0000000000. then i listened to the vm....and then deleted it. this is the 3rd time in a week that this number has called .... and the first time they left a vm. don't know who this national credit assist company is...but i certainly wouldn't use them if i needed the help since they make unsolicited calls to random people and lie about 'you requested help' .... yeah! that doesn't fly peter pan!
