I have been getting at least 5 calls a day from 000-000-0000. When I ignored it, and went to the ansering machine, no one is there. when I answer it, noone is there. The phone company can't stop it because they don't have a number to trace.  Very frustrating. I work at home and it's driving me nuts1

I have received this telephone number as well.  But it was from AT&T, they left me a messagae.  Of course, I ignored.  I felt this was un-classy business; and on top of that is was a automative voice that left the message.  No wonder the ecomony is the way it is!

I live in the Los Angeles are and this is social services calling my father's landline. I don't know why it comes out all zero's. Their area code is 213. Maybe it's some kind of caller ID block companies use?

I actually work at a call center where we call for different insurance companies and when we call this nmber shows up on caller i.d. We are not calling to soliciate or sell anything. These people have signed up for the insurance so they are pretty much asking for a call. My advise to you is to answer the call and see what they want. It might be important, and if it's not and you want it to stop, then tell them not to call you in again in a calm manner. And I can almost guarentee it's going to stop. If you tell them to call you back, or that the person they are looking for is not availible or you simply don't answer, I promise they will keep calling

I got an auto-bot saying that it was my credit union and that my account had been frozen.  It asked me to press (1) to speak with a security specialist.  I pressed (1) and it asked for my account number.

I hung up because I've never banked with a credit union in my life, not to mention the caller ID was hidden.  I'm angry that these phishers got my phone number.  I hope they don't call back.

I got one yesterday that I'm sure was a scam. They said something about my debit card and a charge on it. They wanted to transher me to an operator to verify it. I just hung up as that seemed like something I had read about somewhere. In the meantime I was freaked out enough to double check my bank account. It wasn't even a real person - just a recording. My husband also got the call, but didn't pick up. Auto-dialing seems logical to me as we have the same prefix.

We've been getting them lately as well.  We have a lot of solicitation calls anyway and I think it's another facet of that. I thought it was a computer-generated call which we used to get when I suspected we annoyed a solicitor by hanging up, as I routinely do.  There ought to be a law!

It is called "Lying through non submission"
They don't tell a lie, they lie by not giving the truth. As we all know the phone number 000-000-0000 is a lie.
I am going to ask that guy on the other end of the phone if he thinks I am stupid, because I would never do business with a liar.
That 000-000-0000 number shows up on my wife's cell phone and it stops ringing just before it goes to voice mail. So this guy is definitely phishing for a sucker.
I answered it the other morning around 8:30 am and He asked for her and I said "she was busy" and he hung up. That same number called the next day and again the very next day and again today. How can we make these calls stop?

I think it`s Obama trying to call you about getting some money. I get 10 to 15 calls EACH day on my cell phone and have tryed everything over the years. The basic fact is there nothing you can do about it! I have reported it to everybody and nothing has ever solved the problem. So all I can say is have some fun with it but be SAFE!

I just got a phone call from the 000 number but i didnt answer it. i never do cause ive gotten them before. but today a lil after i got the call and ignored it, i got a voice mail notification so i answered that. And it was from a defensive driving school that i had signed up for, reminding me about my class. This is the most ligament call ive ever gotten from this number. So it is probably from ppl who pay to use it on their caller id. or it could be this thing i saw on a commercial advertisement, and u could use this to call someone and change the phone number to show up on their caller id to what ever u wanted. The advertisement even showed a girl using it to call her boyfriend and changed the number to some other girls number and she used that to prove that he was cheating on her. Anybody could buy it if they wanted too.
